Rumours Cafe - Menu

Fantastic vegan menu. Vegan burgers, milkshakes and wraps. We had vegan burgers and vegan coleslaw, which was yummy. Would highly recommend! Not easy to find at moment, as is obscured by scaffold. Dooley that put you off.

I visited a charming cafe and restaurant by the waterfront. I enjoyed a tasty piece of homemade cake and a cup of coffee. They also offered an intriguing soup and main dish for the daily special. I plan on returning to try it out again.

We came here in feb food was lovely came back her agin in july staff were very attentive food was very fresh. coffee was excellent and the lemon/blueberry cake was delicious.My husband had bacon chicken mayo sandwich and he said it was lovely .will definitely be going back again.

Don’t let the scaffolding in Terminus Road put you off searching for Rumours Cafe. It’s one of Eastbourne’s best kept secrets. Came in here for coffee and the menu was so enticing we turned it into an early lunch as well. The owners and staff were very friendly, the menu was interesting and included Vegan food. Will definitely return.

Very positively surprised on my first visit by a great vegan menu, lots of choices from breakfast to burgers to paella! Really enjoyed the vegan strawberry milkshake and the vegan gelato (such interesting flavours like rose and hazelnut!! . Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, great decor, all round great place I will definitely be coming back to!

I absolutely love this restaurant. The staff are very friendly and I couldn't ask for more. They have a fantastic variety of food options, especially for vegans. It's great to have such a good selection for those following a plant-based diet. I highly recommend this place and Kiely, who served us, was extremely kind and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back again.

We are a vegan family so coming here was just amazing!!! Amazing menu with tons of veggie and vegan options. They have vegan ice cream, amazing vegan milkshakes and such an extensive menu healthy and not so healthy options so perfect for everyone!!! The service was just amazing! As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by the nicest and most enthusiastic guy unfortunately we didn’t catch his name but he was so lovely and helpful! Attended our every need! The price is very good and affordable. Definitely recommend to everyone

We visited today (26/05/19) and we absolutely love this place, the owners and staff are wonderful, friendly and attentive hosts that will do what they can to cater to your needs, the menu has an incredible selection and dogs are welcome which due to location is ideal for people who go for walks along the seafront. We had the deluxe cheese burger which was by far the best I have had in Eastbourne to date and a fruit selection served in a pineapple half with yoghurt which I am informed was amazing. To top it off the coffee that I had was to die for, I would highly recommend visiting here, be you a local or a holiday maker or even just passing through, believe me you will not be disappointed.

I had two breakfasts at Rumours during my three days in Eastbourne. I don't return unless the food is good. The cafe is located on Terminus Street just before the seafront. Surprisingly, I was the only customer both times, which was hard to believe for such a great cafe. Perhaps there are too many cafes on this street, or maybe tourists prefer a later breakfast. Nonetheless, I enjoyed some pleasant conversations with the cheerful lady boss who cooks in front of you. She makes you feel welcome and adds to the charm of the experience. The breakfast was delicious, with the highlight being the sausages – two small, high-quality butcher's sausages. The eggs were slightly underdone the first time...
