"I visited today with my wife and we both loved it absolutely! a warm and friendly welcome as soon as they enter with options either a lounge area (where dogs are welcome) or a dining area to sit. there is a large selection of foods, including vegan and gluten-free options. I chose the homemade rindburger (I added halloumi on mine), all perfectly cooked and full of taste. my wife chose the mushroom pate that was also delicious (especially with the onion cutney) along with a very generous and particularly delicious side part of sweet potatoes! there was also a delicious and wide range of really interesting drinks. the two games we chose were “black johannisbeere and Lakritz” and “rhubarb and rosehip”. we were too full to try the gloomy, but they looked amazing and will definitely have to rehearse another time. thank you we will come back!"

Lovely place to eat with tasty food and drink, staff are friendly and there’s a few good vegan options. I had the vegan chocolate milkshake and vegan chilli nachos!

Lovely home cooked food for a very reasonable price. Huge portions, cakes are amazing, lovely friendly staff. Great kids menu for older babies who are baby led weaning. Quick service too for a busy day!

When we're in Whitby we always make a point of going here for something to eat. We had lunch yesterday and as always was lovely. The staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. We'll be visiting again soon. Thank you xx

what an absolutely delightful piece of foundation from the paved streets of whitby. beautiful hanging garden and a large outdoor and/or indoor area for relaxing and eating/drinking. the staff was friendly and I look forward to my next visit.

I took my 3yo and 1yo to lunch, we had such a nice time! many toys with. the menu is brittle and offers for every taste with gluten-free and vegan options! there were even a few pooches hanging around us, we could stroke! a must visit when in whitby!

we had lunch here. there were many vegan options available. the only disappointment was that none of the two soups was vegan. what we had was great. we had a vegan shader and also have a delicious sandwich divided. there were also 2 or 3 desert/kitchen options. the staff was very friendly.

Came here for lunch and had the spinach and falafel burger, which was good more of a vegetable burger than a fake meat one, but that's good sometimes. Great chips. Had the salted caramel chocolate cake for afters, which was delicious but super super sweet (and I have a sweet tooth). Only soya milk available for coffee, but it was nice.

Whenever I dive in whitby for a day, I always make sure that I come to sanders yard for some eating and drinks. first impressions are always from the local decorations that really create a warm welcoming atmosphere. the menu has a good selection of options for vegans, they even have a vegan plate! eating service is fast and it is also of an exceptional quality.
