Food quality has suffered since the change to a new location. Service was very inattentive and slow. Still ok to have food here.

In review of this restaurant, the staff were very rude disrespectful and unprofessional. The service was horrible and the food was overpriced. I urge absolutely everyone not to go this restaurant. Absolutely terrible.

The waiter with no hair is s useless. He will ask for a Corona test before he serves you. Pathetic seating outside with no Covid protocols being followed. Manager with a loose fitting coat is also useless and should be retired Visualizza piatti

Lovely vegan and vegetarian Indian food. Since the move to a bigger and more friendly location it is much nicer to eat there. Huge menu and wide variety of different tastes of different parts of India. Definitely a place to go even during lunch break.

This place bills itself as ‘the world’s number one Indian vegetarian restaurant chain’. What a joke. I paid nearly for a simple potato curry with plain rice. The rice had probably been cooked hours before, while the curry was ok. Tiny portions and they...don’t even provide a plate eat straight from the silver serving dishes. I left hungry and regretting my visit. There are a ton of restaurants in central Frankfurt. Do yourself a favour and give this one a miss.

We'd been to the NYC location, and my boyfriend's been to this location several times as well as a few other global locations. Savana Bahn is the largest vegetarian Indian chain in the world, and everywhere we've been it's been good. We did the North Indian thali and South Indian thali, both of which came out with a ton of food. Thalis give you a bit of everything, and everything tasted homemade and fresh and we were so incredibly full by the time we were done. Service was fast. Highly disappointing . In last years I ate here times and it tasted good . It was mostly little hot a little too much chilli )yet authentic. But today we picked a take away. They have nicer interior now. But the...food quality has gone real down. I had a vegetable curry which was very very sweet, Yes!!!! a SWEET mixed veg. Curry. A Vaughan Bharat also very sweet , a dal which had no taste at all !! I don’t know what happened to this place. I don’t have much experience before , but this was definitely my last visit. This place is a very famous chain of vegetarian South Indian restaurants around the world and I was so glad to find one here in Frankfurt. They used to be one of the best names in India when I was growing up. Unfortunately this place gives them a bad name. The menu is huge with tons of classical South Indian street food so popular all over India. Classics like dosa, idli, vada and so on. The service is pleasant and quick. The prices are also reasonable for the portions you get. Unfortunately the food lacks any seasoning or flavour and it was bland food totally unlike the food you get in an average South Indian restaurant. I didn't realize this was a chain, but I've been to the Saravanaa Bhavan in the bay area and recognized the name. Come here if you're looking for an authentic Indian spot that doesn't hold back on the spice! This restaurant is a block or two from the Frankfurt Main train station, which makes it a convenient stop for folks transiting through Frankfurt like we were. We came for lunch Thursday afternoon around 3 pm, and to my surprise there were more folks eating than I expected to see given the late lunch time.
