"I spent an evening with some friends last weekend at Schmaus and Braus. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The food is excellent, the decor is very modern, yet very comfortable and has a very welcoming feel to it. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Schwabing and only a couple of minutes walk from Münchner Freiheit and the Englishcher Garten. The staff are extremley friendly here too. The drinks weren't bad either of course. :) And the prices are extremely reasonable, and great if you're on a budget too. The drinks are about Eur 1 cheaper than other bars only a few minutes away. I'll most definitely be going here again, and on a regular basis. Highly recommended."

We meet Schmaus und Braus today and was really nice to be there in their opening day. Food was great and prices very friendly. Atmosphere stunning, all the people positive, young, dynamic.

Had a meal here with a group of friends after a day sight-seeing (a few drinks were also imbibed ;). Staff were very attentive and friendly, made excellent recommendation and gave helpful recommendations about some of the fare we were not familiars with. All the dishes we sampled were delicious with plenty of plate sharing and tasting going. the atmosphere was just right with us being seated in the large dining room in the rear as we were probably on the boisterous side! I understand this is a new restaurant so would like to wish the staff and owners the best in the future. If they carry on like they have started they should have no worries!
