"Bestellt: Pizza Thunfisch mit Zwiebeln. Dazu Extra-Topping: Spinat Knoblauch. — Pizza nicht bis zum Rand belegt (dafür reichlich) und Zwiebeln vergessen! (Wurden dann auch nicht berechnet). Vorspeise des Hauses: Pizzabrot Dip — sah gut aus, gab es aber nicht für jeden Gast! Warum? Weil ich kein Stammgast bin? Pizza war außer dem Belag eher fad. Teig leicht mehlig. Fazit: schade! "As a family we visited this restaurant in October for an afternoon coffee and cake we were just driving past . We enjoyed it so much that we promised ourselves that we would come back one evening for dinner, this we did in December just before Christmas. I just can 't praise this establishment too much. From the moment we walked through the door it was like visiting friends in their home for a meal, a lady took our coats and then took us through to a small dining room, about 20 covers , what a lovely quiet room , there were about another 10 guests in the room , really cosy and homely, we had a large round table for the 4 of us spotless table linen and cutlery. We ordered our apero 's whilst we studied the menu. Not a large menu but a good selection whilst we were deciding what to order we were presented with a nice canapé to keep us going whilst our 1st course arrived. Our waiter was 1st class he was very attentive throughout the meal, never an empty glass and our food served quickly and efficiently. My choice of main course was Trout with a choice of being pan fried, oven baked or grilled I chose the fried Trout which came with some lovely plain boiled potatoes , no fancy sauces just a small jug of the hot butter which the fish had been cooked in , delicious . And I must say a real treat to be given the correct cutlery for the food I was eating. Something which is lacking in so many good restaurants today . Yes , I know I am of the old school . Our waiter was at hand to remove the head and frame from the table after I had filleted the fish, no doubt he would have done that for me if I had asked . My dessert a Zwetschgen sorbet which was excellent , I think the waiters hand was a bit unsteady when he poured the Zwetschga wasser over the sorbet , very nice too . Our meal was helped down by a lovely bottle of Jeninser Blauburgunder , an excellent wine and finished off with coffee. Something I have not experienced in a long time was the appearance of the Chef to greet his guests just as we were leaving. All in all a wonderful relaxing evening. We came away feeling like guests, not customers. And excellent value at 400 chf for 4 persons."

"our visit at schoris railway station was very positiw. from the inside and out a typical Swiss babe. which is not always typical, however, is that the chef is most personally greeted by the kitchen from the gast (and also approved) and so are they also, the people in the service: pleasant, friendly, courteous.Only the manager service did not want to keep fully with the friendliness of his team and cough next to us without a grussian word. the food was very delicious. the hunter salad meets completely in the black and also the hot stone promises not too much. good meat quality, delicious supplements and sauces. nice highlight: the guest is tied a huge apron by the service. top! the prices were completely in the frame - would even pay a little more for the service and the ware."

"Wir waren zu siebt in einem der kleineren Lapplandhäuser. Das Haus ist wahrscheinlich für 12 Personen eher etwas knapp. Empfangen wurden wir im etwas kühlen Apéroraum, aber umso freundlicher von Reto, der uns durch den Abend begleitete. Zum Apéro gab es einen roten Glühwein oder Pusch, dazu Stückchen von Parmesan, Pizzabrot und Speckzüpfe. Das schmeckte alles gut, war aber etwas knapp bemessen. Anschliessend begibt man sich ins Lapplandhaus. Die Garderobe allerdings ist im Haupthaus. Einige von uns waren unschlüssig, ob sie nun die Jacke ins Lapplandhaus mitnehmen sollen, da die Kleider dann halt logischerweise etwas nach Rauch riechen. Also unbedingt ein Gilet oder eine Fliesjacke für das Hin-und Hergehen zwischen Buffet und Lapplandhaus mitnehmen. Bei uns hat es stark geregnet. Wünschenswert wären Schirme zum Gebrauch vom Anbieter. Den Salat holte man sich dann wieder vom Salatbuffet, das sehr vielfältig aber eher gewöhnlich war. Es wurden gleichzeitig auch Rosmarinkartoffeln und Raclettekäse in Schälchen für auf den Grill angeboten. Der Raclettekäse schmeckte mir persönlich nicht besonders, war ziemlich langweilig. Das Getränkeangebot (Alkoholfreie Getränke sind im Preis inbegriffen) beinhaltete Wasser (mit und ohne) und verschiedene Mineralwasser (Cola, Rivella....), allerdings keines ohne Zucker. Als Wein wird ein Primitivo angeboten für CHF 29.-. Der Wein ist in Ordnung, Preis/Leistung stimmt. Auf Anfrage gibt es auch andere Weine. Empfehlenswert wäre eine kleine Weinkarte , die bereits aufliegt. Das Fleisch zum Grillieren wurde von Reto auf einer Platte ins Haus gebracht. Das Rindfleisch war sehr gut, die Würste auch, das Schweinefleisch schmeckte mir zu stark nach Schwein. Das Dessert holt man sich wieder im Apéroraum vom Buffet. Die 3 versch. Mousses, Crèmes waren sehr gut, die Glace auch. Von den 3 Sorten Kuchen in Würfeln aber schmeckte nur einer wirklich gut. Die anderen 2 waren "tanggig". Es gab auch noch aufgeschnittene Früchte. Kaffee konnte man sich von der Maschine selber nehmen.Ich werde wieder ins Lapplandhaus kommen. Allerdings im Moment nur wegen dem schönen Ambiente. Es ist sehr gemütlich in den Häusern, das zuständige Personal sehr freundlich. Ich würde mir aber andere Sitzkissen wünschen. Meines wurde den ganzen Abend nicht warm, war sehr dünn und auch nicht sonderlich bequem. Alles in allem war dies ein gelungener Abend. Die Qualität des Essens muss sich aber unbedingt noch steigern."
