Service was very good and the food was tasty. They even fetched me a special request bowl of atchar (lime pickle) a must for a curry night out

I'm here as a couple, with family members and friends, and it always made a good impression. this is a place for people who like to eat a lot very nice curry on a budget, and not necessarily take care of a 'fine dining' experience.

I accidentally fell in shikara with a friend of mine and honestly I found eating fundamentally, but good, but nothing special about the service or eating. However, I would recommend the place if close to request some good Indian food.

Booked via the Fork. The service was really good and polite. The menu has a lot of different alternatives and can satisfy everyone. One negative note: the meat was lacking any sauce. I made a reservation at The Forks and I was impressed with the excellent and polite service. The menu offers a variety of options to cater to all tastes. One downside was that the sauce lacked meat, but the meat itself was fantastic. It would have been nice to have a dip with it. The side dish was a salad instead. The mango lassi was delicious. The portions were generous as well.

Ordered directly from restaurant with fantastic customer service which is always a bonus at the start, I have ordered from here previously but forgot to rate. The food itself has left me lost for words, beautifully selected meats, which is full fresh and fragrant ingredients. The rice dishes where flavoursome, fluffy and none of the dishes consisted of any excess oils. Purely delicious, with passion and love for what they do. Compliments to the team and the chef in particular. Support local businesses, support direct orders. This will definitely be a reorder fortnightly for me and my family. Thank you shikara

First visit to Shikara recommended by an Indian friend. Not too busy at 8 PM on a weekday but delivery guys kept coming for takeaways. First impression, ambience was calming with dim lighting and a candle on each table. Background music was instrumental OSTs to popular old Bollywood movies. Warmth was welcomed when it was -2 degrees outside. Ordered Lamb Pasanda and Paneer Kofta with chapatis. Lamb meat was juicy and soft. The curry was filling with fresh taste of yogurt. Portion didn't look generous at the first glance but actually packed quite a lot of dices. Paneer Kofta came with good curry. The doughballs and cottage cheese fillings felt a tad dry.
