Out of the Indian food I had in Hamburg, Singh was probably the best. Located in the upper floor of a building directly opposite the Savoy theatre, this feels like an oasis in an otherwise hectic neighborhood. Service is very attentive, and we found pricing reasonable.

Food was delicious, authentic, and at a reasonable price. Highly recommended for lunch, as for €7.50, I was able to get a generous portion of Chicken Tikka Masala and basmati rice. The lunch entree also came with a small but very flavorful cup of vegetable soup. For the past two months in Germany, I have struggled to find Indian food with a good spice level. Asking for the Tikka Masala to be sehr scharf really brought out the flavor, but the heat was still pretty mild to me.
