always friendly and welcoming. we use it as a family meeting place for mixed group of adults and children to eat children for free!

We pre-booked online for Sunday Lunch at the end of a nice walk. We arrived at the restaurant only to be told that the there was not a table for us despite there being a number of empty tables in the restaurant. Very disappointed and I would not recommend this place to other people.

This is the second time of using this restaurant to meet up with my son and his family. The food on both occasions has been really good served hot and freshly prepared. The children's meals were ample and very good with the added benefit of being free with the adults meals. Service was at a good speed and very friendly. We have tried several places either on Solstice Services or in surrounding towns/villages to meet up but this is the best yet and anticipate continuing to use the restaurant for the foreseeable future

I've eaten here before I enjoyed my meal, so I've chosen girls for us to have our Christmas cat up here. we all had the same meal, which is a surprise; two courses for which great worth. starter: fried brie, that was nicemain: braised bark, tasty. overall the meal was wonderful and well presented, few bits fat in my bark, but barring that everything was great. my friend was quite surprised at the price of her weine (for a big one;) I cannot comment on how not drink wee, so have no warning. Booked via Opentable booking online, when we arrived the staff had no booking for us. They said Opentable does not inform the Hilton of any bookings not sure why they advertise this on their website on how to book a table! Finally got a table for 4, kind of an airport lounge seating area. Not too comfortable. Quite spread out so your not sat too close to others but very dull atmosphere no low music or anything. Food was ok and nice but not exceptional. Drinks very expensive. First time here for a meal, not memorable so doubt I’ll be back.

We often visit for Sunday lunch buffet with family as it's a convenient location. The buffet offers good value. The soup starter was quite salty on this occasion. There are other salad options available. Plenty of vegetables and choice of roast meats (pork, beef, chicken). My son particularly loves the chocolate fountain other desserts are available. Service is a bit hit and miss. Staff can be slow with drinks and had to get up and queue to get the bill. However, staff are friendly, so as long as you're not in a hurry, it's not a problem.

we were already in the solstice bar grill for their Sunday afternoon buffet at numerous places. this time it seemed that it was a chaos with the opentable online bookings. our booking was not recorded and we heard at least three others with the same problem. As a result, the restaurant was underused, so that drinks had to be picked up from the bar, as there was no table service. the waitress told us that the employee reflected the fact that the manager had not met the online bookings so that the general meeting was significantly higher than expected. in general the fry is good.
