Absolutely terrible, curry tasted like water with spice and the rice was swimming in water. Need better cooks,wont ever use again!!!

The staff at this restaurant is the friendliest I've ever encountered. The Indian food is delicious and I have no complaints at all. Thank you!

Food is lovely we wait about an hour for delivery. But this is 2nd time it's wrong. First time I had no curry this time we ordered 2 garlic rice and got 1 pillau rice when I complained they said they would send rice we waited another hour it never came sorry but won't give them my money again shame I liked it.

What a disappointment, the food is terrable. Prawn biryani, rice dry and crispy not much flavour, and the sauce was tasteless and runny really not sure what the veg in it was but it was very slimy so bad couldnt eat it. Poppadom stale. My husbands chicken madras was very watery and sure the chicken was not chicken. Never again .

Ordered some chefs recommendations, suggested by the friendly guy who served me. We ordered a few starters, then mains Hariyali, Khadary and a mango chicken, with fried rice, naans and a cheeky pineapple fritter. Food was collected on time, piping hot and really delicious! Do not visit this restaurant. I usually order from Shalimar, but decided to try this place. The service was terrible - after waiting longer than expected for my delivery, the food arrived cold and with hair in it. When I called to ask for a refund, the staff were rude and unhelpful. Avoid this place if you're looking for good food and customer service. It's a disappointment.

Delivery had missing item and had to phone twice to rectify (to no avail . Onion Bhaji was beautiful but other than that, very poor. A chicken chaat with peppers didn’t have peppers and instead came with tomatoes, and both main courses were too spicy and had exactly the same ‘red coloured’ chicken pieces (processed? . Finally, the Tarka Dall was over cooked and was one congealed mush. Very disappointing!

Thought I would try the spice box for a change, having lived in the area we always went to the shalimar. I wish I hadn't bothered. I ordered a chicken madras , of which the chicken had a very odd texture, the curry wasn't hot enough for a madras. It was quite watery too. I ordered a king prawn biryani for my wife. Not great. The rice part was so dry as to be burned and crispy in part, and the biryani was bland and tasteless with unidentifiable veg in it. The popadoms were also stale, and the peshwari naan was nothing to write home about. Apart from that it was a lovely meal! Needless to say we won't be using the spice box again anytime soon.
