"Despite living in the area for 10 years we had never seen this restaurant before, my husband happened to see something about it online. We were so pleased he did! It was without doubt the best meal we’ve had in any restaurant in the area. Both the food and the service were outstanding. The outside seating area was lovely. A great find, and we will definitely return."

a great cozy place to dinner in the old part of basel. great eating with a friendly and competent service. they also have a very good wine list with reasonable trips and many half bottles in their selection. we had a great time!

We had a wonderful experience. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. It was very small and the staff were very attentive to our needs. The wine and food was delicious. They also provided a tasty starter and ended with the traditional Basel cookies. We would definitely recommend it if you are in Basel. It was also an easy walk from the tram stop.
