"I 've been to this pub several times since it has got new ownership and each time I have left severely disappointed. I have given it a fair try each time but rude staff, refusal to serve you unless you are a regular who are allowed to stay for lock ins whilst everyone else is turfed out before the pub closes and charging on entry for live music for a local pub is obscene. The attitude of staff when even just asking for water was appalling, and needs a severe shake up. Cant comment on the food, but with wetherspoons down the road I doubt many are eating there anyways. Won 't be going back anytime soon."

"Great food and very patient staff. We arrived as a couple rather than the 3 expected. Just as we were ordering food we got a call and 2 became 3 again...so 15 min, a quick collect and a change of tables later...start again! 5.8.22....back again. Different company (Lorraine). Same great service and food....sweet potato fries are excellent!!"

"We have not eaten The Colwall Park Hotel for some time so on Bank Holiday Monday we decided to have dinner out . As we have not eaten here for a long time read positive reviews also the à la carte menu did look very good on there Web Site, we decide to book a table for two. On entering the Bar we noticed it had been re decorated new carpets tables New bar etc i must say it looked very nice. We sat down ordered a wine, a pint of Wye Valley which i must say was well kept tasted great, as was the Malbec . After mulling over the menu for both the bar Restaurant we decided to go for the Bar Menu.(Only because they had stopped doing the Turbot changed to the Brill) hopefully the Turbot will be back in the future!! as its a lovely fish one of my favorites. Any way we both went for the Crispy fried Fish with Peas Chips salad. The waiting staff were very polite nothing was to much trouble. The meals arrived piping hot The fish was a good size tasted fresh it looked fresh as was the salad garnish really nice .The chips were very good nice crispy (Not greasy soft) and tasted really nice it came with a pot of peas Tartar Sauce. I think if the peas were mushy or even crushed it would have been faultless. Both meals were very good offering good value for money with great service, it will not be as long as before when we next return. Thanks for a nice evening"

"Went to watch Nigel Kennedy at Malvern theatre, so we stayed overnight at the Swan. It is a beautiful, historic place in a small village. We got there early, but that proved no problem as the staff told us we would be able to access the room straight away. The pub has everything you need, great ales and lagers, plus some very good food. We tried a fillet steak and cod, and they were very good. The bedroom was a reasonable size with everything we needed and a comfortable bed. Overall I recommend anyone to have a stay at this place, the only fault I can point out would be, they did tell us before we left to the concert that the bar would be open until 10.30, we did rush back and managed to get there for 10.25 unfortunately they'd shut, I can only presume that they'd got no customers after all it was 7th November. But definitely worth a stay. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5"

"We received a very warm and friendly greeting upon our first visit to this restaurant, as we are new to the area and were recommended by our neighbors. The food was excellent and we will definitely be returning soon. The pub was relatively quiet, which is why I gave it 4 stars, but they had a good selection of draught beers and ales. I will definitely be back to try more. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I highly recommend trying the Cantonese Sweet and Sour Chicken, Egg Fried Rice, and Kung Po Sauce. Overall, a great experience and well worth the price of £10-20 per person for dinner."
