"What an absolute disgrace to Spanish paella. The place was recommended to me so I regret to say it, but the food was appaling. 27€ for 300g of oversalted rice, 5 uncooked (yes, you read it correctly, cold) shellfishes and a piece of watery lobster this is simply a steal. I told so much to the waiter and asked if this was a bad night (who knows, maybe Saturday's not their day) to which he said no it's a normal night. The wine was equally disappointing totally blend but thankfully there was some water to quench my thirst after all this salt. I will recommend to avoid this place like the plague."

The restaurant was fancy and the food was good but the paella was the best but unfortunately it was little bit salty. The waiter was amazing and so friendly. I recommend it.

The food was ok, it used to be excellent. The service was terrible, the hostess and the waitress were really rude. We didn’t eat bread however they charged it in the bill because we ate the “free appetizer” they gave us. The owner needs to supervise the quality of the service.

The best restaurant in the sea in madrid! Well cooked, delicious taste, impeccable variety! Recommend the taps, the octopus leg with potatoes the sea bass salt! Super interesting and tasteful Julian, our waiter, was very visited, super helpful to choose dishes, professional and friendly!

THE FOOD: excellent. Best paella in Madrid. Went recently to a highly renowned Paella place in Valencia, which could not beat St. James. THE SERVICE: attentive and friendly. THE RESTAURANT: pretty and traditional. However, the lights were too bright. Don't expect a romantic dinner atmosphere. THE PRICE: certainly high. Paella for two with wine 80€.

This restaurant was recommended at the hotel where I lived. I asked for a good paella restaurant. I know I'm not the best place to ask Paella in Madrid. But St.James was 10X better than anything I had in Barcelona. Captain Mr.Jesus was fantastic. From its wine selection advice to order the amount of food for our small party. The paella was not too fishy, which is always a plus. The other waiter servers were also attentive. This restaurant is fine food. Even at the point of the mouth wash in the bathroom. Very recommended.
