A few years ago, they accidentally came to this cozy restaurant. Since then we have been driving regularly to the Mummelsee with a firm visit also here.

An amazing and genuine Steak House in the Black Forest. Situated in the hills above Seebach is the Steakhaus Kaminstub'n. The restaurant is run by a lovely couple who even recognized us after a visit 12 years ago. The steaks are cooked on an open charcoal grill in the middle of the dining room by the owner, while his wife takes orders and provides the drinks. It really is an experience which if you are in the area you should not miss! Oh and the steaks are just fabulous too and beautifully grilled to your liking.

This is where we fed well to third parties. The meat is grilled directly over wood in the fireplace. I had the pork ends with Rösti, my husband decided to be ridden classically. Our daughter had a salad plate with shrimp. Everything was very fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, my husband's cattle steak was the first attempt well done instead of medium. He then got a new steak on the grill, even though he didn't want it. If you want to go to eat here, you should book as much as possible. We were lucky to have a place without reservation. Moreover, you should not be too hungry when you enter the restaurant. Cooking in the fireplace takes so you can wait a little longer than usual in other rest...
