"Read the reviews so had high hopes we wanted to eat there as they have few tables outside very nice menu lots choice placed our order but had quite a long wait nobody cleared or cleaned the tables which wasn't covid friendly and they obviously have regular clientel whom seem to occupy most tables with coffees smoking and swearing so wasn't nicest environment or most enjoyable lunch experience-sorry! We didn't receive an apology for long wait and even tho the server could c used cups ashtray etc she didn't clear it, I wiped table myself with antibacterial wipes! However thr baguettes/ wraps were very nice with lots of filling at reasonable prices"

"I attempted to make a reservation a few days in advance for Saturday night, but unfortunately, I was unable to secure a spot. So, I decided to stop by for a glass of wine early on Saturday evening before it got crowded. I was pleasantly surprised by the charming atmosphere of the wine bar. We will definitely make sure to book in advance next time we are in the area. I also noticed their Cheese shop across the road in the Arcade, which looked amazing. Additionally, the sharing boards at the restaurant looked absolutely fantastic."

"What an amazing restaurant! We had heard that Twelve Eatery was worth visiting but I was sceptical about an all-vegan menu. How wrong I was! A fantastic evening from start to finish. Delicious cocktails to start followed by the highly rated pan seared king oyster 'scallops '. For our main meals we had the Mediterranean raw lasagna which is served cold but has incredible flavours and the roast 'chicken pie ' with seasonal vegetables. For dessert it was a no-brainer to go for the dulcet de leche cheese cake which lived up to the heady expectations we had read about in reviews. The experience was topped off with the chance to talk to co-founders Daulton and Greg who were incredibly generous with their time on a busy evening to chat with us about their journey and the amazing food. "WOW! What can we say!? Chris Katie catered lunch at our beautiful outdoor wedding at Moonacre, Sturminster Marshall. They had a fantastic layout and lots of menu options available several different burgers, wieners fries! They absolutely smashed the service and excelled at feeding a few more than expected too! They made us a gorgeous little personalised menu also which we thought was such a nice touch! Everyone couldn’t stop talking about how amazing their food was even those who would never normally consider vegan options were blown away at how great everything tasted! They managed to positively influence even the most stubborn meat eaters of our guests to realise that they don’t need to miss out on flavour when choosing vegan options! That’s a huge win in our eyes! A couple of people even said it was the first ever vegan food they’d tried and they couldn’t get over how amazing it was! We told our guests about the Mighty Wieners restaurant in Bournemouth and will be bringing people back for more as they couldn’t wait to try more options! The day was such a huge success and Chris Katie did such an incredible job! We can’t recommend them enough, for food at their restaurant and wedding events catering! Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian and vegan options! Dietary restrictions: Served gluten free options! Kid friendliness: Excellent service friendly, warm and when above and beyond! "The waitress didn't know the menu or the wine list, so we had to show her what we wanted to order. Then our order got lost and the manager came to re-take it. He was polite and apologetic, so it wasn't an issue. There was a party at the hotel and the door to the ballroom kept banging when people were going in and out to the bar to get their drinks. Not a very relaxing atmosphere... Another problem was the waiting time. We waited an hour for two main courses. There were 3 other tables when we arrived, so that shouldn't happened The manager came to apologise, saying that they have a big party and just two chefs, but if that was the case maybe they shouldn't take more bookings. As we were going to the cinema we had to ask for the bill before we could finish our meal. The wine was taken off the bill which was a nice gesture, but I would prefer to pay for my food and drinks and have better experience. Food overall was tasty and sauce for truffled fries was amazing, but because I think in the end they were rushing to get our meal out of the kitchen my fishcake rostis were undercooked and soggy."
