The restaurant is quite pricey, and the quality of the food doesn't quite match the cost. I ordered takeout for dinner, and it was around £20-30 per person. While the food rated a 3 out of 5, the service and atmosphere were better, scoring a 4 each.

I was informed that they only accept cash for takeout, but they take cards for dine-in customers. This might be their policy, but it feels more convenient for them than for the customer. Ordered a chicken vindaloo. The chicken was dry, tasteless and hard like it had been precooked 2 weeks in advance, The vindaloo sauce had a very strong taste of cloves which ruined it. And the onion bhajis were rock hard, as though pre made and warmed up for too long in an oven. Apart from that it was a great meal I.e. the pappadums were freshly made. Don't be deterred by the exterior; this restaurant offers amazing food at very reasonable prices. Although it doesn't have a liquor license, you can bring your own drinks for a corkage fee of £3.50 per bottle of wine, and there's a Co-op just 5 meters away. We initially planned to visit only once, but we were so impressed with the food and excellent service that we returned the very next night. Service: Dine in.

I had a wonderful meal delivered yesterday evening. It arrived on time and was just as hot as if we had dined in the restaurant. We usually order a small selection of sides along with a single portion of rice to satisfy our appetites, and the portion sizes were just right. We enjoyed the Vegetable Rice, Saag Paneer, Bombay Aloo, Tarka Daal, and a Peshwari Naan—all of which were flavorful, well-prepared, and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this place. A very good authentic Indian cuisine experience. Superb attention from the owners and staff. Helpful recommendations of their selection of food and drinks. Fresh tasty food came quickly, didn't feel rushed, great service. Plentiful portions, with plenty of flavour. This is an unlicensed restaurant, but don't fear as there is a coop locally near by with a large selection of drinks. Overall prices were about right for the meal, however the charge for corkage per person seemed excess. We would definitely return. Visualizza piatti
