"Last night I ate the best dish I’ve eaten this year! Chilli prawn pasta along with the amazing wood fired tomato garlic bread. The flavours in the pasta dish were amazing. The garlic bread was the best I’ve ever eaten in a restaurant. Thanks to Sam who was a pleasure to meet looked after us from start to finish. We ate in the bar area which is cosy inviting. The food prices for what quality you are getting are more than reasonable. Can’t wait to return!"

"We popped in on Saturday evening without booking and could not have been made to feel more welcome. Despite being stacked out, we were quickly found a table. The service was great and the meals, as ever, were fantastic and great value. I would highly recommend you try the Whistle and Flute if you have never been before. We look forward to returning soon."

"Ordered veg quorn curry and what came was 8 quorn nuggets on top of curry sauce, was nothing curry about that and very expensive with what you got, a 10 year old could have done better. Vegetarian options: Not enough option and everything microwavable Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"Used this restaurant takeaway consistently for the last 15 (before lockdown) but tonight...the absolute worst meal we have had in Asian cuisine. This place used to be the best curry house by far! Tonight we thought we would try again, after not going for a while. The Tarka Dhal was basically water and onions, I couldn 't even find a lentil! The portion didn 't even come half way up the foil dish. The naans were thick, doughy and undercooked inside. Both main dishes were very poor quality again with only half way up the foil dish. The garlic Masala used to be so tasty made with roast garlic and topped with coriander and flaked almonds. It was just a standard sauce and looked exactly the same as my partners specialty Rezalla. Absolutely tasteless to add insult, 2 main, 1 rice, 2 naan, 1 side dish £45!! Rang up to complain and was told to speak to the colleague and was cut off! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50"

"best Chinese I ever had! we went for a sit down menu in December and it was exceptional, all cooked fresh, huge portions and so delicious. the personal is very friendly and attentive to drinks and service. we had a farewell since then and the food quality was just as good. this place is really a good place for a meal for two, bigger party’s or a take away home!"
