Great lunch , we had the steak meal and a few drinks. Good service and value for money in a nice environment , definitely worth going there.

I had a wonderful lunch with former coworkers from Reading. The food, service, and atmosphere were all great. I will definitely be returning.

Amazing pub, great staff All so hoof with children food was amazing and a good price. The landlord was so friendly and kind. Felt so welcome was an amazing experience

Today I went to Messenger Pub at 1pm. I ordered a Malibu and lemonade, but when I asked for more lemonade, I was told I had to pay extra. So, we ended up getting our lemonade from the shop instead.

Absolutely amazing, staff absolutely lovely and the food is great In consideration of the prices as well. Drinks well priced. I spend most of my time in the messenger pub Swindon even though I’m not a couple around. I absolutely love it.

Visited for Sunday lunch with friends, food beautiful, very good portions, excellent value for money. Recommend the roast turkey, beautifully cooked and nice selection of vegetables. Lovely friendly bar staff and drinks amazing value and charging realistic prices unlike many other pub chains. Will definitely return.

Never been here before but it was recommended to me by another pub I was in last week so thought I’d give it a try. I always have burgers when I go out so tried something new and the katsu curry at the messenger is DEFINITELY worth trying! The manager served me, he was super welcoming and was hilarious, great sense of humour. Thanks messenger! We’ll be back

Had a meeting, then went for lunch at the Messenger, which had been recommended to me. I had a great meal of burger and fries. Whilst eating my lunch, I overheard the banter between the landlord and some of his customers. It sounded great and would be enjoyable as a local. I would recommend it as it had a great atmosphere. Well done to the landlord and his team.

Went for lunch today and decided to try something different! I ordered chick and mix, my husband ordered a burger. It was delicious! We ordered drinks, had a chat and a lot of banter with Nigel and his team as always, before our meals arrived. The meals were presented nicely on hot plates, a must for us! They were well cooked and very tasty. My chick and mix was amazing, I hadn’t ordered it for a long time but I shall certainly order it again soon. My husband said that he thoroughly enjoyed his burger too. The atmosphere is pleasant and for a sports bar, it’s not too noisy for us! We enjoyed it and will going in again on Friday for fish and chips Well done Nigel and your team
