"I went there with a large table for a special occasion. Thanks to a friend who is fond of the place. Very warm welcome, charming place. Very accommodating and friendly owner. Anxious to go to the tables, speak with customers, without being oppressive. He brightened up our table. Servers a little overwhelmed but during this service, they did their best (we thanked them profusely). The owner was charming with me (from restoration) we exchanged respectfully outside in his charming courtyard. He was very kind to my regular friend by giving her a gift. I was touched by his gesture. The lady at the service was great and handled us with professionalism and a wonderful smile. On occasion, I would come back to eat at your place."

"Very friendly staff, polite and attentive to the needs of customers. The place is special and friendly. We couldn't enjoy the garden because of the rain but it seems nice. The kitchen is family and well prepared. A heart blow for the tartare that has much more, the ham is probably the simplest, the quilt is to eat with the fingers to savour it to the end. The accompaniments are at the choice which allowed us to taste a very good gratin. The desserts were very good too. A good address."

"my husband and I visited max for dinner on Friday night on recommendation and it certainly did not disappointed. I called the day before to make our reservation and the person I spoke to on the phone spoke a perfect English so there was no problem there. ) and had a lot of time to digest the menu. It was nice to have the chance to eat traditional French cuisine in such a warm and relaxing environment. the food was divine, the incredible cheese tray and a great selection of wines. the restaurant owner took our order and took the time to explain the dishes we ordered to make sure that we were satisfied with our choices. Do it. Everyone here couldn't do more to make the service more charming. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and for the quality of food and the level of service, the prices were really very reasonable."

"totally confused by the many good reviews. The restaurant is in a alley. very clean and very friendly but food is not so good. the potato dish is different and reading the reviews, many people love it but in reality it is only a potato in a knotted jacket. My husband said it was a little like the old English channel you love. entries are correct but nothing special and desserts are mainly based on ice. for 20 euros, it's good but the menu at 27 euros is close to the best restaurants in the city that have menus at 33 and 35 euros, so stay on the menu at 20 euros. the kindness of the staff and his welcome are charming it is just a shame that the food in my mind did not meet the expectations of the other critics I would not return there"

"They have a good breakfast with a baguette, butter, jam, orange juice, a hot drink and a croissant or a chocolate croissant for less than 6 euros. All were delicious. they also have excellent gourmet tea - kusmi. you can also buy bulk leaves or kusmi tea bags to take away (what we have done - I love this tea, and it is cheaper in france than elsewhere in europe.)"
