"I think it wasn't immediately obvious that the restaurant was based in a retirement village. Equally, the directions to Redwood village were clear but the parking signposting wasn't. Not for visitors who were not relatives. Everything was nice and the food and customer service was exemplary, only my friend was surprised to hear AC/DC and other more pub-like songs playing in such a posh restaurant. I didn't mind as it wasn't too loud though. The parking signposting for restaurant visitors should definitely improve though!"

We had afternoon tea. The surroundings is beautiful. Sandwiches was nice. Scones were tasty and the cakes were ok. Service was excellent.

for a simple lunch is symonds very nice. they will not be disappointed. our meals were freshly cooked to order and service was good. I think the employment is, however, the best part of the experience.

This was a great restaurant in so many ways. The service was excellent as was the quality of the food. I did find the lunch menu offered very little choice and was not quite what I was hoping for, having looked at the menu choices online.

Food was brilliant. First my friends and I had met up since the start of lockdown. Ate in the restaurant and went out side with for a cuppa afterwards. Only but pick I have was that we had to ask for the tea to go with the food. Other than that perfect.

Super afternoon tea with good food and drink. contempt paid to the comfort and desire of the customer. the personal was courteous, professional and attentive. the ambiente was relaxed and the atmosphere was friendly and quiet. would like to recommend and would return n the future.

everything in all it was not what we remembered. service was slow, eating was acceptable e, but the linguine was not really very hot. there was a high time in the dining room, but service was very slow and we had to ask our main course to be delivered. a glass wee came with a fly in it! there was no atmosphere.
