Never ceases to impress me. Authentic Georgian food with amazing wines and deserts. Definitely a good address to impress your guests (at a reasonable price).

The restaurant offers a variety of delicious dishes, excellent Georgian wine, and attentive staff who were happy to explain the menu and wine-making process. It is a fantastic spot for a delightful evening with great food and wine.

The restaurant is very cozy with a pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious! It was fresh, well-prepared, and extremely tasty. First time trying Georgian food and I was impressed, really delicious. The restaurant is nice and cozy, everything we tried was so tasty (and somehow different to other cuisines I‘ve tried before). Staff also extremely nice. Everything perfect. Highly recommended, will definitely come back!

Was delighted to find this restuarant in an out of the way neighborhood near our hotel in London. I have been craving Georgian food (and wine! since visiting there 2 years ago and this had all my favorites...I felt like I was in Tbilisi! The khachapuri was excellent and the walnut cake desert was divine! Prices were very reasonable.

Small and authentic Georgian restaurant. Prices are very fair and quality very high level. Best Georgian restaurant outside of Georgia I dined at (out of approx 10 I tried so far . We visited this Georgian restaurant with a couple of friends and we were amazed by those delicious dishes! We decided to have a taste of everything to share. If you will go there I definitely recommend to do the same so you can really discover their cucine deeply! We had a bottle of wine (how not to try it since it is generally considered the “cradle of wine” , Khachapuri, Lobio, Lobiani, Ajapsandali, Khinkhali and many others tasty food! Best value for money!

When in London for business and staying in a nearby hotel I had high expectations of Tamada. I love Georgian food and was looking forward to beautiful home cooked food. We were placed in the basement as there was a private party upstairs. All fine however no music no atmosphere, nothing. Khatchapuri was seriously good and tasted like it should be. The Tabaka chicken was tiny and not so filling. Also the purée was powder based and not good. My colleague had a veal stew which was also not wow. That with 2 beers and 2 glasses of wine set us back 75£. For a real taste of Georgia I have seen better places!

Having previously eaten at Tamada, we decided to try their cooking masterclass. We opted for a three hour option for two. That included cooking Georgian starters and tasting those with a glass of wine. That was great fun. The class is suitable even for people without much cooking experience. Apparently, Georgian cooking is a simple and enjoyable process with guaranteed success. Our chef Tamara was great and guided us through the recipes with a lot of passion and dedication. Also she was brilliant in tolerating our lack of cooking talent : After the session, Tamara shared the recipes and the list of ingredients.
