beautiful location, beautiful esthetics, unique wine collection with super Tuscan's magnum sizes pretty much choices. delicious cuisine, amazing maitre d', friendly and professional at the same time, a fine line not easily achieved. of the best dining experiences in hamburg by far!

Business meal with courses menu, very nicely presented and tasty. We had a private room, which was good and privacy satisfactory. Very friendly service. Large wine selection but largely overpriced, never seen before for this level restaurant. However reasonable pick was good to enjoy...the meal.

Been here a couple of times over the last two years and it is still four stars , definitely. However, it seems like prices keep going up and quality slowly but steadily going down. The location is great, starters (check out the tuna or beef...tartar) are excellent and the steaks still beat many others in Hamburg. We walked in to a modern decorated restaurant. Had JT with special tonic. Very good service. Our host asked as a starter the seafood platter. When it came we were all impressed by the three stories platter full of fresh seafood crabs shrimps mussel salmon...lobster. Of course we didn’t order main courses as the portion was very big. Enjoyed a well chilled French wine from the very good wine list. Dessert we didn’t order and we got a dish with three different types of cream dessert. Excellent taste. We were escorted to our taxis.

Not the first time here and always a guaranteed joy and success with friends and/or business colleagues. Have their mixed starters which are absolute first quality and consist of a very varied and interesting blend of delicasses. The chateau briand is fabulous too. Get the...recommendatiin for wines. We got a white and a red from the Pfalz; they were out of this world and moderately priced. One little issue may consist of the entrance which doesn't do justice to the restaurant. You will have to pass the casino reception on its left.

Overall disappointing. Service pushy. Wine massively overpriced. Decanted after they had poured first glass weird. We asked what our main courses came with and were told nothing We ordered very clearly one portion of chips. They brought and a variety of sides the...mains came with but they did not tell us about, despite my wife specifically asking whether the main courses came with anything and being told no, and directed to the sides section of the menu! Crepe suzette dessert not cooked at table, delivered barely warm on a cold plate.
