Delicious food try seafood, it's amazing. Thoughtful service and nice spacious multilevel interior, so you don't feel as you are in the middle of crowded square. Prices are in line with the quality of food and service.

We had an excellent dinner at Korfu after a long bicycle ride. We both had dorade with grilled vegetables, tzaziki, a Greek salad and red vine. It was not inexpensive, but absolutely worth the money. The service was very unobtrusive and attentive

that is forced to double as a normal beim Griechen kind of thing because in a provincial town like Marburg, gourmet restaurants have a very tough stand. I have never had Souvlaki or Gyros here, but their fresh fish from the Frankfurt Grossmarkt is always...excellent, outstanding, and expensive, while worth the price. Yesterday, swordfish was on the menu as well, also as part of the legendary Fish Platter for two or more, which now sells at per person. I used to visit my parents in Greece frequently when they were stationed there several years ago, so I've always had a fondness for the people, culture and food of Greece. My visit to Taverna Korfu last week brought back wonderful memories of those trips. The owners made the best of the pandemic and redecorated and upgraded their restaurant beautifully. The food was so delicious; the Köfte on my mixed grill plate was like a time machine, taking me back to my favorite island taverna on the beach when I closed my eyes to savor it. Amazing!
