"After four years of regular visits I must admit that not once was any food left on the plates either from my friends or myself. Whereas you can seldom find cooked food(something that generally Greek places in Germany lack), Savvas' grilled meat and fish delicacies are constantly of high quality. Stepping inside from the door, you come across an old Kneipe"-like interior, decorated with pictures of Greek cultural icons of the '50s and the '60s-thank God no statues,- and you get the cosy feeling that suddenly you entered a Greek village's tavern. The unique fact that the place is open until 05:00 allows you to relax and prolong a nice dinner experience with friends. Overall, a second address in Düsseldorf as a previous comentator stated, with the friendly and responsive owner playing a big part in the success of the tavern- perhaps points for improvement is the removal of some slot machines in the corner and change of the atrocious colour of the menu."

The best Greek restaurant in Düsseldorf! Traditional Greek food and Mediterranean recipes! We visited the taverns two times during the Interzum fair in Koln. The staff is great and polite and the food was extremely tasty.

Whenever I visit my brother he definitely takes me there - and all of us. The restaurant is open until late hours, and we usually have meal at night as my brother does. It's a very warm atmosphere, you can find nice Greek food and service is fast. Visualizza piatti

Beeing a cypriot living in Düsseldorf i have searched for an authentic greek cuisine here. Savas has a pretty good range of dishes and its food is very delicious! I would really recommend it during summer time as it has tisches outside and the atmosphere is very nice

The things I ordered on the map are lovingly arranged and are served at any time warm. Certainly not only the attentive staff was the absolute racer during our visit, but also the good climate.The armchairs are very cozy and the distance between the tables I find extremely reasonable. There you will certainly not get the feeling of dining cucumbers in the can evening.I can only recommend this restaurant!
