The Bake One - Piatti

The food is always amazing at this restaurant. I ordered the King Bake Platter and all of the meats were delicious. The service was exceptional too!

Fantastic food, and plenty of it. We all ordered different dishes and we were all delighted. Lots of veggie options as well, but I went for the chicken kebab. Very friendly helpful staff. All in all a delightful experience. We will be back.

This restaurant is a hidden gem with a cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and outstanding friendly service. The portions are large, so be sure to come hungry. It was packed during our visit, indicating that others have also realized how tasty Lebanese cuisine can be. We will definitely return.

The Bake serves the best middle eastern food I have ever tasted. We have visited several times both as a couple and with family and never been disappointed. The food is good. Plenty of choice on the menu. Cafe style environment. Water given in bottles which is good. The downside was the service charge (14% which we didn’t like as we both only had one course. Meal served on wooden boards (prefer a plate as not sure how hygienic these are . Several takeaways were going out and only a few seated diners….perhaps because people don’t like the service charge which left a sour taste.

Recommend booking a table. Within ten minutes we were being served food and OMG did it taste fantastic! All 5 of us had different main meals and we all said it tasted great. One of the 5 was a coeliac and also had a chilli allergy, but the boss was very helpful. The restaurant has no licence so bring your own drinks there’s an ASDA close by) and we also given complimentary bottles of water. Highly recommended and would visit regularly, but we don’t live in the area, only visiting Newcastle for the weekend,

Very disappointed in the size of my takeaway portion from the the bake one in gosforth, Newcastle Upon Tyne I paid £17.40 for a portion and it was tiny. I don’t know if they gave me the wrong meal or a child’s portion but in was no way worth £17.40. My partner got the chicken parmo which was much cheeper and twice the size. I was still hungry after eating the mixed grill, thank god my partner had plenty left of hers. She was good enough to give me half of hers. It’s such a shame as the food was pretty good.
