"The food was tasty and portion sizes meant a starter and large main left us feeling pleasantly full however... I would unfortunately say that though the waiters were polite and good with providing drinks (using the service button on the table to get their attention), getting food was incredibly slow. We were a group of 10 and had booked a couple of weeks in advance we ordered starters and mains, but despite having a 7pm booking we didn't get mains until around 9pm. It was fine but noticeably slow with no mention of a wait when booking our table, or updates from staff on how long it'd be. It made matters worse as we saw other people turn up after we ordered, and still receive their starters and mains before we had ours. We'll likely go back, but definitely in smaller groups."

"I took my mum and dad to Prezzo's in Wickford last night for a family celebration for my mum's 80th birthday and her 60th wedding anniversary. The staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating. Mum and dad are advancing in years but the staff were so lovely to them and us, allowing us to have a cake with candles and they all sang happy birthday. I love the layout of this restaurant, it is open and relaxed with the tables a nice distance apart compared to other similar restaurants and yet it still has a buzz and warm vibe to it. One of my things about any restaurant is that you should always be greeted at the door no matter how busy it is. I go to this restaurant about once a month since it opened years ago and they always do this well. The food is always hot and nicely presented. We had a mixture of pasta pizza, burger and chicken and all were tasty. Sometimes I go to restaurants and staff just go through the motions, but in this restaurant they genuinely want you to enjoy your visit"

"I popped in for a leisurely drink part way through a bike ride. The barmaid, Paula, could not have been more accommodating. I enjoyed a super service. I'm a real ale fan and was served locally produced ale. A great experience from start to finish. "Hi I use this place a fair bit . Today not so good . I asked for 1x egg bacon sandwich and 1x sausage egg sandwich and can Fanta £12.50 !!! ?? Also sausages very cheap . Please spend a bit more money on quality .. it really makes all the difference . But can’t fault anything else Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch"
