"On May 13, 2017, my husband and I had lunch here and both opted for steak pie and homemade chips. It was lovely to sit in the bar watching live football while there was a children's disco happening in the restaurant area. On May 21, 2017, we enjoyed another fantastic carvery with pork and crackling, and I was informed that pork would be off the menu next week but lamb would return. On June 19, 2017, we were pleasantly surprised to find out about a free dinner offer for the kids, which was a nice touch! June 26, 2017, brought another fantastic roast beef carvery. Then on June 29, we popped in for lunch, which was fabulous. Throughout the week, they offer two main dishes, a burger or pie for £10, plus two desserts for the price of one. You can’t beat that! On July 21, 2017, we found it so busy during lunch that we could only get a table. The following day, July 23, we had another excellent experience, and on July 30, we were thrilled to see they’ve set up a water station outside for dogs. How clever! On September 29, 2017, we enjoyed a lovely lunch of cheesy dirty chips topped with bacon, followed by the two-for-one dessert deal. Absolute value for money! On October 18, 2017, I had lunch with my granddaughter and husband. The menu offers great choices, value, and quick service. On November 26, 2017, I had the beef carvery, which was just as wonderful as ever, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated with Christmas music playing. On November 27, 2017, we enjoyed steak pie with homemade chips and peas, while my husband had breakfast all day with extra chips. On December 17, 2017, we treated ourselves to the usual superb beef carvery. Then we were pleasantly surprised with a £3 winter gift card for spending £10 on food in January 2018. On December 25, 2017, we enjoyed a delightful Christmas dinner with a wonderful atmosphere courtesy of Elaine, Steve, and all the staff. On January 26, 2018, I had steak pie with homemade chips but was disappointed to find some fatty pieces and a large chunk of grease in mine. The salted caramel and chocolate brownie fudge cake was very rich, though my husband enjoyed his apple cake. On January 28, 2018, we had the beef carvery again, and it was wonderfully tender. We come every Sunday and wouldn’t go anywhere else. On February 4, 2018, the beef carvery was as delicious as ever, and on February 11, 2018, I enjoyed the melt-in-your-mouth roast beef again. On March 11, 2018, for Mother’s Day, I had a roast turkey carvery followed by a complimentary lemon cheesecake, which we brought home and enjoyed. On March 25, 2018, the beef carvery was absolutely delicious. On April 6, 2018, I had fish and chips, which were scrumptious and of good quality. The two-main-dish deal for £10 is quite hard to beat from Monday to Friday. On April 8, 2018, we had the usual beef carvery, which was lovely with perfectly tender meat. On April 22, 2018, I tried the turkey carvery, but I always find myself drawn back to the roast beef. On May 6, 2018, the roast beef carvery was delightful, and even the heat that day couldn’t deter my appetite. The hospitality and atmosphere are fantastic, and the staff always make us feel welcome. On July 1, 2018, we had the carvery again, and they launched a new menu on July 4. Ka recently indulged in the perfect carvery on July 22, and another outstanding roast beef on August 5, 2018."

fab local pub serves beautiful eating to reasonable trips. visited for live music with lukewarm lowes and had a great night.

I need to say more, then go nice eating loved people always go to holland on a Monday, so I don't miss on my Sunday evening dinner

They were extremely helpful when my Lotus Elan lost its exhaust system. The very friendly woman called her partner, Jackie, and he repaired the car within an hour.

We had Xmas lunch can't fault the food it was fantastic . The staff never stopped lovely homely pub I would highly recommend it and thinking of booking again for next year .
