"Best fish and chips I've ever had. Very fresh tasting. The chips were hot and tasted like they were just cut. Been there twice, had fish twice. Traveling to Dublin again in a week. Want to try some other dish, but I sure would miss the fish. The waiter remembered me from my first visit. He remembered what I ate and drank and where I sat!! Like the cozy atmosphere and great local music. I'll be back."

Staying in a nearby hotel which doesn't have a restaurant and having not eaten since breakfast I ventured into the Castle Vaults a very hungry customer at

the restaurant is hidden in the cellar what they would expect with a name like vault. I made a reservation, but it was really not necessary. we sat in the lounge area of the bar and eating was in order for bar/pub food. honestly with a name like castle vaults I expected more. it was just a pub.
