"not impressed by the service received. the crusty had just our booking as lunch booking not a afternoon posting with a full spread of sandwiches, scenes and tee for £23.95pp we found the personal rude and unhelpful, they said unwillingly, they could give us tee and scene, but nothing else and that they were not made late and not prepared. After they showed them what we wanted, they gave the blame for the problem with our booking. After we finally got our cutlery and tees, we found out that the cutlery was dirty, their glasses on the table were a milky color and most, if not all cups, saucers and teapots were chipped and the inner was brown. absolutely lukewarm! then the scenes arrived and while they were warm, they were not the most beautiful. I sung on the day to push back the times and I mentioned that I had booked a afternoon tee for four people and would like to book the booking to 3:30, that was no problem. So I don't think they didn't know about the afternoon tea book. the afternoon was booked as my mother's 60th birthday party. the total of four pots tee, 4 scones came to £36.34 including service fee. and while I wanted to complain and knew, I should notice that there was no difference to the received service."

Lovely traditional bar,great atmosphere, friendly helpful staff. Food was delicious, definitely recommend this place for afternoon tea. Great location.

Cosy relaxed environment which is very characterful. Inside and outside seating and a very reasonably priced menu with good quality food and wine. Would definitely go back!!

this restaurant has been a firm favorite for almost 40 years. a great place to meet and have a good value for the center of london. daveys weinliste is also exceptional. friendly service. 10/10

Lovely atmosphere, staff friendly and welcoming and chatty, especially Karolina, she brought a blanket for my Dad as he was cold. Nothing was too much trouble. Food excellent and good value. Highly recommend this place. Will go again in a few weeks

The food was just delicious and loved the setting and the beautiful singing, especially the tenor in the courtyard. I have been troubled and uncomfortable that the wait staff here and elsewhere have been largely unmasked. It is difficult for tourists who can only fly home if they test negative.

We had actually booked for an afternoon tea for 2, but the restaurant didn't receive this information on the online booking. However, the staff were really lovely and apologetic and we stayed to eat off the menu which was delicious and we were given a glass of bubbly each on the house. Would definitely visit again!

the crusting pipe went beyond and beyond to ensure that my disabled mother was comfortable in the wheelchair. the safety of the covent garden and the staff of the pipe helped to facilitate the lift for them. cheryl was our server and was beautiful! she was attentive and linguistic, let us know historical information and various sights.
