"I have been to quite a few afternoon teas. This one I would describe as the worst for the price. The minimum price is GBP 90 as there is « discretionary » service charge to the stated list price, though it is now normal for UK establishments. The quality of food was good, but the sweet treats were melting when they were brought. China is well worn out. The main problem is the service, which was non-existent compared to similar establishments. Just to name the few: We were not asked if we want aperitifs aperitifs were not brought together for everyone and we had to wait for 20 min for the last one to arrive The refill hot water was plated all over the table and it was miracle that no one was burnt The waiter told us to pack our own doggy bag, thankfully he provided the box Such a disappointment, I better go to cheaper Rytz next time"

While this has to be the most expensive afternoon tea I’ve ever had it was worth every cent. The atmosphere and service is amazing but the GF afternoon tea was sensational. Once in a lifetime event.

The service was a bit lacking and the food was not super fantastic. I was expecting a bit more from the famous Fortnum Mason. I do want to compliment on David the manager in the afternoon restaurant at Fortnum Mason. He was very nice and made the experience much better.

My American family had the best time experiencing tea for the first time. The elegant ambiance of Fortnum Mason made for an exceptional experience. Our server was so kind and walked us through the menu, explaining how and what to order, as well as recommendations of teas, as this was our first time. We had a lovely time; highly recommended. Really disappointed in our experience. The food was O, although cakes dry and seemed stale, gluten free scones best I have ever had, hence an extra star! Champagne awful quality. Service really poor; our waitress really couldn't be bothered, but the chap who brought our food was lovely. I know they are busy, but I expected good service and didn't get it. Shame.

The Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon at Fortnum Mason is a true gem. The afternoon tea experience is excellent, with a delightful array of treats that cater to refined tastes. The service is impeccable, creating a wonderful atmosphere that elevates the entire tea affair. For those seeking a touch of sophistication and culinary delight, The Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon is a must-visit destination.

As a birthday treat it was a lovely occasion in a pleasant environment. Food was nice especially the savoury tea £85 . Generous portions if you ask for more and super little card boxes to take away the uneaten food. It is over priced at £80 for finger sandwiches, tea/ coffee, scones and cake. It is an additional £17.50 for a glass of champagne that is £45 a bottle in the Food Basement of the shop . Service was good if clumsy there were two incidents while we were there. There are better tea time experiences for the price elsewhere. Visualizza piatti

I felt like I couldn't leave London without experiencing some Afternoon Tea. Naturally there's tons of choices here, but I opted for the Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon after reading all the glowing reviews and seeing pictures of the elegant interior. I ordered the Savory Afternoon Tea. My favorites were essentially all of the patisseries! It runs £80, so this is definitely more of a special occasion deal. However they do let you try more than one tea and offer refills on any of the food items you liked. They seem to take a team approach to their service. So I had no issues with any request I had. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful with any questions I had.

Was truly on the fence about having Afternoon Tea here because the reviews were so mixed but opted to just give it a-go and can 100% vouch for those that stated this place is highly overrated. Service was extremely slow, we had a weird pungent scent of fish near our table the entire time- server was nice enough but not very attentive. The scones were some of the best I've ever had so kudos to that (clotted cream was nice as well) but the sandwiches were nothing to rave about/very forgettable and the entire sweets portion were NOT good at all (I didn't finish anythingggg); even my tea selection was a standard drip tea bag and not loose. They do offer you one additional slice of cake- so I wen...

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
