"Three of us chose the new wagyu beef burgers but were disappointed the taste seemed like regular burgers. We wanted them cooked medium but that was not possible according to management.Other food options were good with excellent presentation.Seemingly an isolated large place in a small village yet quite close and easy to find but you have to navigate a one way system. We would definitely go back but avoid the wagyu beef. This would make a good place to visit regularly"

The Drum is a must for anyone visiting Cockington. Inside or outside seating;, a peaceful and scenic location

The food and service was good but of us did first have to send back our Sunday roasts to warm up as they arrived a little on the cold side. It seemed a case of hard working, polite staff being run off their feet. Hot plates would help

The Inn is attractive from the outside with adequate seating and space for children to play, and the bar area is comfortable although can be crowded. The dining area though was bare and ‘cheap’, like a bad motorway station. I will not take guests there again

Having steered clear for many years heard you had improved. Had Sunday lunch with , we all enjoyed our meal. I have since retuned upon different occasions all good. I have recommended you to many friends approx and no complaints .... Thank your chef.... I am back again this Sunday...table for four

As we visited lunchtime NYE it was very busy with families and dogs. It is great to see a location welcoming them it just got slightly chaotic. Luckily enough we had booked a table in the restaurant area but to get to the toilets was a challenge.Please don't let this put you off. It's a beautiful place in a scenic location. Employees were great and the food gorgeous
