"If you want something a little different this is worth a visit. There is an outdoor terrace if the weather allows or an interior that is a bit somber for a lunchtime. The menu is quite innovative with a range of sizes from small plates to larger portions. and prices are competitive. Order at the bar quoting your table number and the food will be brought promptly. There’s a container of chilled water on the bar for self service and on the day of our visit the staff were donating their tips and selling cakes in support of the Macmillan big coffee morning."

"Excellent as always. We had tried to get in the night before but they were fully booked, so booked a table sharpish for the next night The food is always excellent and cooked so well. It was very, very busy but it never felt like the staff were in a rush or needed to go and be somewhere else. It was actually very well staffed which I was impressed with, some restaurants there’s 1 or 2 poor wait staff running around stressed. They deserved a tip which stupidly I forgot to leave (sorry) but will definitely be back as it’s one of our favourite places for steak. Highly recommend."

"Ordered the Lyfbox, lyf fries and a lyf burger. The sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection, very crisp, no sogginess and seasoned wonderfully to give it a savoury taste. The lyf box was made from simple ingredients of boiled riced, chopped vegetables and minced, ground beef but again combined nicely to give a heart warming and healthy experience. The burger patties were perfect, no oily residue and plenty of high quality meat content with just the right amount of pickle and garnishing in a healthy whole meal bun. Everything was neatly packaged into a doggie bag, and presented pristinely when opened up. I 'm so impressed by the quality of the food that it would be an insult to put in the same category as most fast food takeaway. It 's clear that a lot of thought and love was put into not just the food itself, but everything else with regards to the business. I 'm certainly voting it for Uber eats restaurant of the year. My only criticism? I wished I had more! I will for sure be trying out the burritos next time. Great job Alex and Beth!"

"Ashukaa is our local Indian restaurant and we really enjoy the food from here (we've had takeaway as well as sit in meals). Generally, we have an enjoyable experience. The only negative for us is that sometimes the staff serving can seem a little abrasive. We can visit one week and have exceptional and friendly service and then another week we get treated fairly poorly for no reason and the server is just plain rude! We do very much enjoy the food from here and will also say the staff were helpful when we visited with a friend who was vegan to ensure she ordered as per her diet which was nice. Vegetarian options: There are a number of options available. Dietary restrictions: The restaurant has a guide for people to follow and were able to offer vegan options for a friend"

"Stay away from peppers in trench they rip you off ! ordered for delivery n it's 5 mins down the road from me was delivered on time the only good thing... I was treeting my fella n mate ...chips stone cold the prawns tasteless and more coating than anything the chicken tika main(just the pieces no sauce) only 6 chunks for nearly a tenna the kema nan next to no filling inside was more like a plain the main curry luke warm ....called explaining the issue to the reply of what do yiu expect me to do ! I told them to come collect the food full refund me as inedible was told no tough it's cold because of the weather.....never had issues with them befor but wow the service is bad and the food quality and portion sizes rediculas for the price 45 quid outa pocket for a terrible meal in ever aspect physically possible"
