"The Habit at the South London Gallery is a charming café divided into two areas: one that faces the street and another with large glass windows overlooking a lovely back garden. The ambiance is calm and serene, making it an ideal spot for a weekend brunch or lunch. Generally, the service is good, and the staff is friendly. However, during my recent visit, it took 45 minutes for our drinks and food to arrive. When I inquired about the delay, I learned that our order had not been sent to the kitchen at all. This was quite disappointing, especially since other customers were receiving their meals and leaving before we even got served. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t offer much in the way of an apology or any compensation for the wait. Despite this experience, I would still recommend the café for its lovely atmosphere, but I sincerely hope the service improves in the future."

The menu was quite limited. I asked if the white wine was chilled, and I was assured it was, but it wasn't. To make matters worse, the coffee machine was turned off before we had finished our meal.

the provider in south london gallery has changed since then and was somewhat disappointed to see that the menu has been slightly simplified. Nevertheless we had a good breakfast (I had the habit and enjoyed their homemade beans, although olive oil instead of butter is a little strange for the toast) and the staff was very helpful and friendly. my friend and I went earlier when we planned, but because there was a really loud baby at the table next to us. but this is luck of the draw.
