On both occasions the staff were friendly, sincere, and chatty : Plus, the 2 people who served me, also handled the track and trace really well taking my temp etc. Would recommend. My circumstance was waiting for a cancelled train today, and last week I had to kill some time before meeting someone."

Great bar! Really good comedy nights on a Thursday, tasty food and some nice draught choices make this place a firm favourite.

Always great food and service here; especially during the new normal .... Loses out on 5 stars for me because their drink prices are too high for the pub location.

Nice food nice place but attitude from kitchen was just **** rude and to wait over half an hour for dessert then to be told they had lost the ticket so sorry won’t be back

every time I'm here, the staff were professional and friendly consistently. fun selection of beers both at the hahn and in the meter refrigerator (a fresh west coast of bbno, which is always exciting to see! had to wait for a train back to london and was happy to find this beautiful pub restaurant. large selection of chilled drinks and cocktails and well presented and delicious foods. super friendly and helpful staff. great atmosphere and very codify safe. 2 minutes wk from the train station. If you come by, you will not regret it.

The Vestry is a great place to dine. We went there before watching a show at the Mayflower. The Vestry had dimed lights and was quiet, so would be good for a romantic dinner. They cater for children too, I went with two children and they loved the fish fingers and burgers on offer. It was easy to book a table online and the staff there were very helpful.
