"We used to eat at Gordleton Mill regularly with a set menu which included duck, beautifully cooked vegetables, etc. and, unfortunately, this time we found the menu very limited, obviously more pizza and beef burger orientated which you can get anywhere.It took a long time, a good half hour for our cold starter to arrive. We do understand due to Covid meals are freshly made and take more time. It is a shame that we felt the atmosphere had changed as it is a beautiful setting"

Ordered roast dinner and never told there was no Yorkshire puddings and never asked if wanted anymore veg as advitised . Poor service

Very good overall except for our waitress who forgot various points on our order. Also she was not dressed appropriately in jeans with a tea towel hanging from her pocket

Additionally, the knives provided at the table did not have serrated edges, making it difficult for my husband to cut his lamb off the bone. Fortunately, I had a delicious piece of halibut that I enjoyed without any issues.

The only thing that detracted from the meal was the COVID situation but that is nothing to do with the restaurant. Staff were professional and the measures in place were clear. As always, the food was superb. I love this place whether for lunch or evening meal. We were celebrating our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed everything. Can't wait to return
