dog-friendly and really good value for money. more beautiful place to eat for a quick bite. faster and friendly service.

we had a birthday dinner for 22 very helpful and friendly staff, good eating and a beautiful sunny garden. it would definitely do it again.

Recommended by the Air bnb we were staying at nearby. This pub at first glance looked like a spit and sawdust place due to it being lacking in carpet. Not so, staff were welcoming and the food was excellent. Visualizza piatti

Excellent service, super food (large portions). What a delight to be greeted on arrival and immediately offered friendly service. Pub was busy but no problem, drinks arrived quickly and the food choice was varied, Snacks from 6 up to a fancy mixed grill burger at...18. All food beautifully cooked. We'll be back

Sunday Roast was extremely disappointing. Meat, potatoes and yorkshire pudding had been plated and stood for a long time, then reheated but were still luke warm. The vegetables and cauliflower cheese ceramic dishes were hot but contents still cold!!! We've visited this pub on previous...occasions when in the area and always had nicely presented and tasty food but not on this occasion. In fact, we wouldnt return, such a shame!

what a great place that is, the staff are so friendly and attentive, unfortunately we did not get names, but the young lady who served us first was nice like the second lady(she has 3 children? we were also so impressed by eating that we went back in the next two days (only stayed close to 3! Went for Sunday lunch, warm welcome but that was all that was good, The place was in need of decorating and the food was awful, The meat was barely warm, the veg was served in separate bowls and was swimming in water, the roasters were...few and small. The charge of 5.10 for a glass of house wine was .... well I'll leave that for you to decide. When I get meals of this quality, I never complain. I just never go back and give a poor review to hopefully warn others.

we go to this pub quite a lot and eat and drink there with the family, but this time we were disappointed, we went to fry for Sunday and I fear they let us down. the dinner was cold and the time when they brought them out was really cold. my daughter was the only one who asked for her net to be heated up, but when they brought the dinner back, her veg was also cold. the grandchildren love yorkshire puds, but they did not like it this time, because they black pfeffer in, this is an acquired taste, so not sure what goes on there, even the chef had black pfeffer added to the over boiled cauliflower that nobody touches! we were a party of ten, but two had another option, happy them. we will not...

Just had an excellent lunch here. Our morning plans had all been derailed and we had two unhappy children and two not so happy parents and The White Hart and its lovely, welcoming, helpful staff turned our whole day around! Food was delicious, Luca behind...the bar was brilliant and extra brownie points for getting my (very fussy!) drinks right without me having to ask each time I went in! Excellent garden with play area for the children and a lovely looking covered area. Fire pits for the evening out front and a heater in the covered area in the back. Inside the pub very warm and welcoming, very decent prices we thought, the manager was very helpful too, saw me looking at puddings and came... Visualizza piatti
