The Mowchak - Piatti

Had a great afternoon, one of many buffet's I have had at The Mowchak. The chef and Robin are always on point a friendly to customers.

Ordered chef’s special biriani with chicken and a chicken tikka masala. Both very bland with very little taste . No Indian spice or flavour to any of ordered dishes . Won’t be using again .

Been looking around for a local Indian takeaway while I’m up here for uni and was recommended this place by a friend who lives in Wycombe. Had chicken korma, pilau rice and poppadoms and it was very tasty! Very nice food! Friendly delivery driver, tasty food! Reccomend! Visualizza piatti

I highly recommend Mowchak in Downley. The food is absolutely delicious and the service and customer care are impeccable. Robin went above and beyond by putting up a banner and balloons for our friend's birthday, making it a truly special night. I give them a 5-star rating every time. Thank you, Riaz and Robin.

This was my first time dining at this restaurant with friends. The chef was accommodating with vegan options, which were not only delicious but also packed with flavor. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. You can bring your own wine, beer, etc., which made the final bill very reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

Went for an Indian meal tonight inspite it being the hottest day this summer in the UK. Great little place met Reiaz who told us he had been there 8 months . We have the samosas and sheesh kebab to start , very fresh ver tasty . Had a FAB meal at this lovely restaurant this lunchtime Saturday 8th January 2022. Staff very attentive. Nice atmosphere. Good portion sizes Good hygiene standards and the food was worth every penny, so tasty. Will definitely go back again. Lovely lunchtime meal on a miserable rainy day, it brought some sunshine into my day I would highly recommend this restaurant

We are regulars at this restaurant and always choose it for family gatherings, dining out with friends and neighbors, and for takeout. The food is delicious and the new owner has maintained the high standard. The service from Robin is friendly and attentive. Guests are able to bring their own drinks to the restaurant, which can be purchased at nearby shops. It is always a pleasant place to dine.

We were regular customers at The Mowchak, on and off, for 5 years but over 3 years ago now we retired to another part of the country. Recently however we were back in High Wycombe and so took the opportunity to return to The Mowchak at Downley and can confirm that the food remains excellent and that the service there remains attentive and comes always with a smile. Thank you Robin both for remembering us and for the, as always, great service and we we'll certainly be back again when next visiting the area. Highly Recommended. Visualizza piatti
