"I go to the Passage about 6 to 8 times a year something I have done for a number of years. I have never had a bad meal or bad service in that time. This week I went with wifey for Banquet Night , we had Papadoms, starter, main course with Pilay and also Ice cream for £16.95, we did spend a little more as we had a couple of drinks each plus extra papadoms and 2 Chapatti's. The restaurant and toilets are always spotless, in fact the restaurant has had a refit with new chairs etc I have never been disappointed with The Passage to India, and for me it is 10/10.."

The Indian food was mediocre. I ordered takeout for five people, but my meat dish was only lukewarm. They also forgot to include a Keema naan, and the naan bread provided was very dense. I don't plan on returning to this restaurant. The service, meal type, and atmosphere were all rated as a 3 out of 5. The price per person ranged from £10 to £20.

This restaurant review is extremely negative. Despite ordering our food two hours in advance at 5:30pm for delivery at 7:30pm, it did not arrive until 9pm. We called multiple times and were told it was on the way, which clearly was not true. We will definitely not be ordering from this place again. The service is rated as a 1 out of 5, with the price per person being £10-20. The food was rated a 2 out of 5.

I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner and had an amazing experience. The price per person ranged from £20–30, which was definitely worth it for the delicious food, excellent service, and great atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the Garlic Chilli Chicken, as it was one of the recommended dishes and did not disappoint. Overall, I would give this restaurant a 5-star rating for food, service, and atmosphere.

I eat at this restaurant every two weeks and have never had any issues with gluten. I only order main dishes and sides, avoiding starters and poppadoms, and always make sure to remind the staff to ensure my meal is gluten free. While some waiters may not be very knowledgeable about gluten, the main dishes are naturally gluten free so there is little to worry about. This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Leicester!

We used to frequent this restaurant in the village but stopped due to declining quality. We decided to give it another chance tonight, but it was a mistake. The food was bland, cold, and overall a terrible experience. The Bhuna had no flavor, the saagwala was tasteless and watery, the naan breads were cold and burnt, and even the rice was flavorless. It was very disappointing, especially considering the price. Save your time and money and avoid this place.

"Wow. The the quirky situation is a fabulous first impression. The friendly greeting made us feel so welcome. The attention to hygiene and protection made us feel safe. The self explanatory simple online ordering system was fun with the opportunity to personalise your order where...possible. The service was kind, thorough and knowledgeable. The food was flavoursome, fresh and inventive. I’m a vegetarian- in a burger place and enjoyed my choices. This is by far not my first visit here. They do change things up and keep it interesting. I was with my 12 year old child and partner on a spontaneous trip after the cinema. It was the perfect fit for a grown up and fun occasion. I requested a surprise cocktail as my second drink. Mr Tim Garratt completely blew my mind. He is an expert professional craftsman mixologist extraordinaire. I don’t know this but think he reviewed my previous cocktail to give him and indication of my taste. In a shake a mysterious mesmerising delicate pink coloured cocktail in the perfect glass encased in a mystical bubble was presented to me. I was hypnotised. When the bubble burst it was the beginning not the end of this exotic experience. The fragrance was intriguing, a mist swirled out of the glass towards me. The temperature was perfectly cool and inviting. The taste was idyllic. Subtle, refreshing, delicate, alive and the best drink I have ever ever tasted. I didn’t savour it, I lived it and loved it and it was gone so quickly. I instantly ordered another. This cocktail was a grapefruit and cucumber daiquiri. To me there’s nothing finer. All 3 of us had a memorable experience and exciting different brave flavours. Everything about Slider Town Loughborough @slidertownloughbouough is individual and excellent. By the way it is bizarre coincidence that we share the same last name. I have no connection to anyone @slidertownloughborough but would be happy to!"
