We went to watch the Jersey Boys tribute, the pub was busy, music was great. We not only had drinks, we also ate there. The southern fried chicken burger was really tasty, service was brilliant. Came in last week Tuesday after our little ones swimming lesson, it was absolutely chucking it down with rain, we was let in 5 mins early but was told we couldn’t be served yet but that was absolutely fine, it was our first vist and everything was perfect. Staff was friendly will definitely be back thank you!

Disappointing after some good reviews persuaded us to visit. On arrival it wasn't overly busy so found a table easily. The staff were pleasant but the wait for food was excessive to say there were only a handful of tables eating. Of the 4 of us eating 3 meals appeared. One with stone cold veg and another minus the gravy part of sausage, mash gravy. The 4th meal and the missing gravy never materialised until we complained when we had another wait while they prepared again the 2 meal errors. The management did offer their apologies but nothing else. Maybe we just picked an off night ?

We have been coming to this pub for 30 years but, sadly' each time we have been here lately (perhaps every month now) it is getting worse. We popped in this evening and were told to move twice but nearly three times in 10 minutes! The first time was from a small table on the edge of the dining area because we had a well behaved dog. The second time was because the table we had moved to needed to be moved for karaoke. We were then told that we could go back to the table that was not allowed as we have a dog then told by another member of staff that we couldn't so we moved ourselves to the last table available as the previous occupants had just left!
