"The place was very busy and had a function on in the other room and we were a party of 6. The food was good generally but menu could be a bit more detailed. My wife does not like cheese and the garlic mushrooms starter came covered in it but no mention on the menu. My wife did attempt to remove it all.The vegetables brought to the table were also smothered in cheese? Again no mention of this on the menu. A little niggle would be the swimming plate of gammon but was easily soaked up with a napkin. Additionally my wife's main was accidentally missed from the order and it came as we were all nearly finished. Safe to say she had everything go wrong for her. They did apologise profusely and knock it off the bill. Also we were brought drinks we hadn't asked for and had to send them back. All in all, the staff were great and helpful and the atmosphere was great. We will definitely give it another chance . Delicious food and great value. Every meal was fantastic—there wasn't a single bad one. The staff is also excellent!

Pricing is reasonable, ranging from £10 to £20 per person. I rated the food a solid 5, as well as the service and atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the Creamed Garlic Mushrooms and the Homemade Soup!

Excellent Afternoon tea with a retirement party of 75. We were entertained with music and games. This Event was enjoyed by all. Very professional and helpful staff. Vegetarian options: Excellent platter prepared for our vegetarians. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food was good, not brilliant. Appreciate that there was a choice of smaller or larger portion. Service was patchy, room was cold. Was told, when I booked I could have a quiet table, but on arrival said the room was in use for a shower, presume baby shower! All in all quite ahoidneal.
