"Sunday afternoon enroute to Wembley. First impressions of the pub were good lively crowd, fairly busy, good selection of food available and easy access to the bar. First pint of Gunness, though servied in a lager glass, was OK at least the bartender stopped pouring to let the drink settle. Decent pint. The second pint was a joke. Not only did I have to ask for the pouring of the glass be stopped to allow the drink to settle, but, as per my attached picture, the glass was absoluetly filthy. I couldn't finish the drink and shared my observations with one of the other bartenders. Really, an unacceptable situation. And if Diageo Guinness are serious about promoting their brand, then provide proper glasses to your customers, preferably tulip type glasses and not those fancy embossed ones. And if the guvnors of The Royal Oak are reading this, please take this as genuine feedback wash and dry your glasses properly and don't serve Guinness in what looked like Carling lager glasses."

The Royal Oak is the perfect place to experience an authentic London Pub. The staff was friendly and professional; the crowd primarily locals; and the food very good pub food.

we arrived on a busy evening and managed to get a seat the food looked good that was served later in the evening was not as busy so got served quickly at the bar prices are what to expect worth a visit again

Managed to get a table in this busy pub. Great atmosphere friendly and lively when we went. We had a main meal here one night, and a roast on the Sunday. Both meals were great quality and tasted delicious. Would come again and recommend.

My wife and I went to Royal Oak recently for Sunday Roast. Nice atmosphere and attentive service. Sunday Roast was very good including large portion of beef. My wife had veggie option and it was also very good. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Recommend to book table in advance because it did get busy. Nice selection of beer and wine. Fun place with good food and nice atmosphere.

We had our wedding reception at The Royal Oak, and from the moment we chose the Royal Oak as our venue, nothing was too much trouble and each of my (many emails was answered promptly. The team that took care of us on the day were exceptional! Additionally, the kitchen team (who are always 'backstage ' were incredible, from the varied menu we were given, to the food served to us on the day it was great. All our guests raved about the food. There really are no words to express how much we appreciated everyone 's hard work in making our reception so special.
