Great spot after our walk Tim was great, met all our needs Beef and red wine pie was lovely went really well with a Guinness.

Usually great but under new management I am lead to believe My friends dinner was appalling it was replaced and the veg was so overcooked

Really lovely meal and served by the lovely Lucy. I had gammon egg and chips and with 50% off with the vintage inn app it was very well worth it. All 4 of us enjoyed our meal. Thank you

Visited with the family and have to say that the venue was cosy country feel and the food was delightful. I have to say I was taken back by the price of a roast being best part of £20 for a main course. Although the experience was ok don't think it's worth the price

Lovely place to go solo, everyone’s really warm welcoming atmosphere all workers were extremely polite, ordered backwards had a dessert first it was my birthday so they made it extra special for me! Popped in for drinks and ended up ordering from the nibbles menu . At 3 for a tenner excellent value. They were so tasty. I tried my very 1st Scotch egg not a fan of egg white or hard yolk these were soft boiled and they had unusually paired them with brown sauce a triumph. We had a full meal here earlier this month it was a bit special and whoever is head chef is doing a great job

Beautiful pub , friendly staff but extremely disappointing. Soup of the day arrived and was not the one that I was offered, the one they provided I couldn’t eat so sent it back and there was no replacement t so I had to wait whilst my friend ate her starter. We then waited 30 mins for our main courses. The main courses arrived I ordered a chicken and bacon salad the lettuce was slimy and past it best, there was so much onion it was inedible. I was offered a replacement meal which due to my dietary requirements I could y have so I was offered some new potatoes and vegetables. second visit in this country pub. last visit beginning januar and it was bad, accusing covid and supplier problems. a worker in the entire es pane and half of the menu seemed not available from any reason or another. but the food we managed was good, so decided to give them a second chance, glad that we did. today's visit was so much better, waitress was brilliant, attentive, and several times meal was tested satisfactorily and that was excellent. really comfortable sitting, well decorated and cared for venue and personal all saw happy and pleasant to treat. since the natives said they could be hit a little and miss the food, but this was not proved on our visit and Tphe Square was busy with...
