"we really wanted to try this place while staying in the area, unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be. we arrived just as they stopped serving so were unable to visit on this occasion. I wanted to stop by regardless to leave a review anyway because the set up of the place looks superb. Clean place, friendly staff and in a beautiful setting. Word of mouth tells me it’s a good place to eat and I am all for supporting adults with learning disabilities having equal opportunities to work. Well done all and sorry I was unable to sample your food on this occasion, but on looks and friendliness alone you get top scores from me!"

In a beautiful spot and very lovely to be nestled in the vineyard but the service was v slow and the food v disappointing. Not worth the money.

Wonderful setting for a refresher on way home after a long cycle ride. Good service and great location looking over the vineyard and Elham Valley.

Popped in for a quick lunch. Nicely welcomed, order taken. Food lovely, beautifully presented ploughman’s let down by sliced bread. Otherwise delightful and great quality, Well done Visualizza piatti

This restaurant is in an absolutely stunning location for a sunny autumn pre-wedding breakfast. It is peaceful and the staff has great energy. The food is delicious. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often.

Such a lovely place to visit, situated within lovely peaceful surroundings. The staff were very polite and helpful. Highly recommend the high tea such good value for money. I definitely will be returning again in the very near future.

Popped in. Enjoyed an amble round the garden centre, very reasonably priced, then had lunch. Soup, jacket potatoes, panini, all with fresh salad. Lovely service. Too full for cake but looked a great selection. Really enjoyed our visit, what a special place. Visualizza piatti

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! We decided to check it out today as we were looking for a place to gather with our family after scattering our mom's ashes at the nearby crematorium. Our son, who has Downs Syndrome, would have felt right at home here since the restaurant supports adults with learning disabilities. It was a peaceful and welcoming environment, and they even allowed dogs. The food was reasonably priced and delicious - we will definitely be returning. Keep up the great work!

I am very disappointed to have heard really good things about this place. My friend and I went on Saturday morning for a hot breakfast. The breakfast came out quite quickly, but it was not really what we expected. The sausage was very small (2 inches) and the tomato was not cooked at all. The toast wasn't even toasted, it was plain bread. We ordered a tea and a latte. The latte was barely warm. It really wasn't worth the money, but I felt it was for a good cause (charity), so I didn't mind paying the 8.50 for breakfast. I wouldn't go back.

"After never visiting Canterbury before we where looking for somewhere to have a late lunch, we came across this place which looked ok, upon entering the back room we were offered to take a seat in the front area and someone will be with us. We asked what food there was and we where sarcastically shown the food on the blackboard, after choosing what we wanted the polite man went off and put the order in. We did feel that because the man had asked a couple of questions to another member of staff that he was spoke down too a bit. Anyway after placing the order and what we wanted the food came out it wasn’t correct but because it seemed like we were going to interrupt the people in the back room we just took what we had. It was nice food though. When we went to pay we hadn’t noticed that there wasn’t a price list so when we asked for the bill we were told that it was donation, what we thought was enough, it wasn’t posted anywhere and it took us by surprise as we where standing at the till, I was going to pay in cash but was told they don’t take cash so I had to give my donation in card by telling the person how much we where donating. After plucking a figure out of air as we wasn’t prepared we paid and left. Upon leaving we felt that the person we paid thought we hadn’t paid enough and wasn’t happy with the amount but after working out what we would have paid properly we worked out that we had paid more than what it might have been if there was a proper price on everything. Overall it has a great ethos and it’s great for giving people the experience that they need to be in a working environment but they need to show the price or tell customers first that it’s donations and card only."
