Nice puddings too. 5 or 6 good vegan/vegetarian options (a bigger better choice than most pubs) Food is homemade and locally sourced where possible. Good red wine, I was driving, so I had zero alcohol Guinness Unfortunately, we were passing through, so a much deserved second visit is unlikely"

A 'real ' pub, old fashioned, multi rooms, no loud music or gaming machines. Good food reasonably priced and service with a laugh. Enjoyable.

Wow what a lovely pub. We pop in randomly and we were shown such a lovely welcome we felt like we've been locals for years and dog lovers too.

We were made to feel extremely welcome, Lucy and the team were very friendly and most accommodating and the freshly prepared food was amazing! Thoroughly recommended.

As soon as we entered the White Horse we were made welcome. We were looked after extremely well, the food was excellent. Good home cooked meals. Definitely a place we will visit again.

First visit my daughter lives near and we were only down for the weekend but she booked in for sunday lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed everything about the place and very sociable people who worked there will visit the next time we visit her
