"I sat here with my family for dinner to celebrate my graduation and it was a good time. first, the service was only so slow. it wasn't even busy, but we just seemed to wait and wait to order and then be served, which wasn't good for groomed foolies! I also felt that eating was overpriced. 16 for a vegan sri Lankan curry that we noticed was the same price as the huh sri Lanka curry that looked in fat floating photo and came with a small pot rice and naan gf brot for my mother is just crazy expensive. to compare, I just wrote an evaluation for an Indian restaurant, where I had the best curry of my life and 15.99 she gets poppadom and 5 vegan flavors, a starter, a curry and a rice vegan! naan, who were all amazing and the portion sizes were huge enough to take rest after home and for dinner the next day we had spent very little peace in the opposite horse that we had left on white. I had the Harissa nut roast, which was a more imaginative pornstar and beautiful enough, but nothing to write home. to make it vegan, they also have to leave the tzatziki sauce, which are encircled with a series of the main only 2 are vegan, how is the rest in the vegetarian options. the sweet potato friars were good, but not exactly something special for the white horse! my mother had the sri Lankaurry she said was "virtually inedible" due to the amount of oil swimming on it. it actually had to use a spoon and a serviette to remove the worst from above. it was really an incredible amount! my father had the meat-free Linguine blog. it was nice enough, but mostly pasta, again a bit greasy and nothing special there was nothing really in the bolognese except vegan minze and tomaten. 14 because it was an absolute tear for what you get, especially because it can make a much more beautiful with red wine, mushrooms and garlic to house! he also cooks his without oil, so it is really not necessary that the food to the level of the fat! my omni-sister and her fiancé had many meat-fish options that seemed much more worth on the price and more. imaginatiw. overall we felt that the vegan offers of the white horse were overpriced, excessively fat and unimaginative. we will not return. nb. the above description with vegan burger, vegan sausages and maische etc. is outdated: impulseandplantate updated by the previous rating on 2021 05 30"

large selection of veggie vegan options. I had the vegan summer harvested bowl and cocosnose for dessert. it was all delicious. they also make other sorbet aromas and a fruit salad.

Sunday lunch meat so tough you couldn't cut it with the blunt knives provided. Plate piled high with poorly cooked food. Unpleasant brown gravy slormed over everything. Seafood linguine tasteless and just a huge pile of pasta with no flavour. We struggled to eat...the main courses. Service was average at best. Won't be going back.

Booked a table for a family Sunday lunch after a lovely walk in the area. Warm, friendly welcome prompt service. Great roasts on offer, generous portions loads of fresh veg. Gorgeous desserts we particularly recommend the bakewell tart, churros crumble. Only...comment was that plates food could have been slightly warmer. Definately book a table to avoid disappointment.

A first-rate Sunday lunch to catch up with friends. Great selection of roasts, recommend the 'trio of meats ' and the butternut squash, lentil almond wellington. There are also burger, sandwich fish options available. Puds are lovely if you can fit them in! Prompt, friendly service, despite being fully booked very busy. Highly recommended but do book to avoid disappointment. Visualizza piatti

We had to wait hour and minutes for our starters. When the mains came ,one of our party had to wait a further minutes until his vegetarian meal turned up. The food was bland and nothing special. Plates piled high with poorly...cooked food. One member of our party had to ask for a steak knife to cut his slow-cooked pork! Then it was another half hour wait for desserts. The year old was not impressed with her first visit to a pub. We will not be visiting this pub again.

When I used to live nearby this was one of my favourite pubs. I would go there regularly for drinks, the lovely garden and lunches. Notwithstanding the local residents, many of whom are multi-millionaires, this pub appears to have become overly pretentious but the food quality has gone downhill, the menu isn’t as good as it used to be and most items, for example, a chicken ciabatta for £14, are grossly overpriced. There really wasn’t a good selection at all for people wanting a lighter or healthier option and I do not believe well over £20 is a fair price for the average main in a typical pub. The Piedra Tempranillo, while seemingly good value at £6.75 for a large glass was actually poor val...

"I recently moved from Stanstead Abbotts, a beautiful little village in the valley of the river Lea. At the end of the high street is this quaint little Thai restaurant that I used to walk by and always said to myself Before I leave this village, I will book a table and have a meal So said so done. On the afternoon of my move, I asked if they had a table available (on the spot) which they did not hesitate to give me. The restaurant has 2 sections, the front is the largest. I was given a table at the back, as I 'm assuming the other tables were reserved. The menu is vast, bright and colourful, with a touch of personal personality and the price points were within my budget, plus I was giving myself a treat. I ordered 4 dishes: 1. Pad Thai chicken Ginger dish, which I thought came with noodles, but didn 't 2. Crispy sweet and sour beef 3. Thai Green curry 4. Coconut rice This was accompanied by a medium size glass of Lemonade with a slice of Lemon for garnish. The Presentation was nicely served on white plates which made the colours of the food stand out. I had two waitresses, MiMi looked after me the most and frequently asked if all was well as I ate. I was quite hungry, so she said no rush. The decore in the back of the restaurant was embellished with potted plants, hanging from the ceiling with, faux red leather benched seating and whitewashed brick walls. Where I sat (at the back) felt slightly cut off from the main hub of the restaurant, which did affect my overall experience, albeit I was grateful to be given a table, at such short notice, so I reframed that circumstance. I could hear chatter in the busy kitchen, as takeaway orders, were going out, as well as seated reservations. BACK TO THE FOOD: All dishes were served hot and well presented. My Thai curry was in a bowl, that almost tipped over, not sure if that was my haste or the design of the bowl. This tasted exquisite. The flavours bounced around my pallet and the chicken was so succulent and morrish with a touch of heat! As I stated earlier, from the illustration on the menu I ordered Pad Thai, which I assumed was a noodle dish, yet when it arrived it was just chicken and ginger in a sauce. There must have been a miscommunication when I was making my order...Never mind, I had enough in front of me and wondered if my eyes were too big for my belly ! The crispy beef was OK, a little chewy! and the coconut rice was a delight. All in all, I was full and the meal satisfied my hunger. In reflection, if I was to order all over again, I would have ordered x2 THAI GREEN CURRY and I would have been happy, The bill was brought to my table promptly, after I asked for it in a nice golden ornate-looking bowl, accompanied by two pearl mints (nice touch) Now for the hard part.. The Bill I was pleasantly surprised to pay £38.35, that afternoon, excluding a service charge (not sure if that was because I was eating alone or what) If I were to give my whole experience of dining at Khunnai Thai Cuisine a mark out of Ten, I would grade it 7/10. Room for improvement: The decore in the back part of the restaurant, maybe some soft Thai music, Change the colour of the deep red Faux leather seating to something more tropical looking, Maybe an extension for outside dining, at the back (during summer) and a little less NaCl. Comments are given all in goodwill. Thank you for a tasty meal. I would definitely eat at Kuhnnai Thai Cuisine and bring my friends or family along...Next time I will book a table for the front of the restaurant, which appeared to be a more open-plan layout with a buzzing atmosphere."
