The White Swan - Piatti

This was my first time dining at this restaurant and I must say the food was absolutely beautiful. The service was excellent and I highly recommend it. I will definitely be returning again in the future.

An excellent gastro pub we came here last year and were blown away and once again the food was amazing. The staff were so polite and couldn’t do enough for you! Wish the white swan was closer to us. We will definitely be back I think the crispy chilli sizzler is one of the best things we have ever tasted! Thank you

This is a real gem of a pub. We were greeted by a team of cheerful staff who looked after us so well. Nothing was too much trouble. There was lots of choice even for vegetarians , which is not always the case when you come out for dinner. The food was served in good time and was delicious! Thank you Team White Swan. I was SO impressed by this place that I created a Tripadvisor account just to leave a review. The young man as well as the girls who are a part of front of house provided immaculate service. Oh, and the food it’s incredible. The lamb flatbread was absolutely perfect. All of the staff seemed to be maintaining enthusiasm and attentiveness despite it being very busy. Well done, I will be coming back!

Here for the first time at lunchtime yesterday following a service of thanksgiving for one of my former teachers. An amazing spread of excellent food, hot and cold, for probably over 100 guests; none of the friendly and professional staff seemed at all overwhelmed by the occasion, drinks refilled promptly and generously. This is a class act and fully deserves its award of East of England pub of the year 2023. We will be back.

We made a last-minute reservation for Sunday lunch with our small dog. It was a pleasant surprise to find a pub restaurant that allowed pets inside. The roast beef Sunday lunch we ordered was delightful – the beef was tender and cooked perfectly, and the vegetables were plentiful and well-seasoned. We booked a table requesting one suitable for our large labradoodle and 3 adults. On arrival, when I said I had made a reservation, they welcomed me by name, pointed to the dog, and asked if a table by the fireplace with a good bit of space would suit. It definitely did! The staff made a big fuss of the dog and made us feel very welcome. There was an extensive menu to choose from and the waitress listened carefully to our special requirements due to one fussy eater! I had the linguine with red prawns. Delicious, the right balance of pasta to sauce, and lots of prawns. Parking was easy round the back. Lovely place.

We have been meaning to visit for awhile and after eventually finding the time to book for Sunday lunch we are so pleased we did. We was greeted with big smiles and a wonderful team who could not have been more attentive. We opted for the beef and lamb roast which were both equally delicious and did not disappoint. We spent our time waiting for our food drooling over the amazing looking dishes being served to nearby tables. Dessert was just as tasty and we both left will fuller bigger bellies : A big thank you to the front of house team (especially Kyra, sorry if thats spelt incorrectly who were polite, happy, friendly and very knowledgeable about the meal options and the extensive gin selec...

I cannot speak highly enough of this place. Despite a stressful start and almost leaving because of our misbehaving dog, a staff member called to check if we were still coming. I mentioned we were in the parking lot and asked if they offered takeout. She quickly brought out a menu, reassured us we could sit in a corner to avoid any distractions for our dog, and things only improved from there. The drinks were superb, and the food even better. The steak was cooked perfectly (or not cooked at all, as I like it blue!), and was truly the best I've had in a long time. My friend devoured her scampi dish. My children enjoyed their meals as well, with one having the burger and the other fish fingers... Visualizza piatti
