Our server, Kayleigh, was really professional and friendly. Food was good, exactly as expected of a carvery. Toilets not great, needs some attention to decor and cleanliness.

Always enjoy Toby restaurant, easy to book table and even sent a reminder. Today was very special as it was first time for months my sister and I were fit enough to venture out so obviously we chose Toby. We booked a reservation through you to eat at 12:45, but upon arrival, we were told that we were one hour early. The lady showed me the booking time for 1:45, but I showed her my booking for 12:45. We were instructed to come back one hour later. We were not pleased as we had to travel to get there, and as a result, we ended up eating in the bar area. I will not be using your services to book a table at Toby Carvery again.

Booking was easy and efficient. There were a few too many reminders beforehand which became irritating. Our waitress was friendly but seemed to be rushing us through our courses. The restaurant was busy and crowded so I guess tables were needed. We were seated by the servery so it was quite hot and the window beside us didn’t open, so the ambience wasn’t pleasant or relaxed. The food was good and tasty, but I can’t really understand why you are not allowed a sausage when you have a standard plate. It would have added to the flavours. However good value for money.

My 91 year old mother has been a regular customer to this carvery for several years. She particularly likes this restaurant as she visits with family, which is a real treat for her and can choose manageable portions to suit her poor appetite. As she eats less than a child’s portion, I have often asked staff if she can have a child’s portion this request is always denied by staff. It sickens me to see other customers, both adults their children piling their plates high with obscenely amounts of food, then return for even more! I find it grossly unfair that she is always charged full price, despite the fact it’s clear to see she is elderly frail. As far as I’m concerned, she’s paying to suppor... Visualizza piatti
