Varsity Restaurant - Menu

Was really looking forward to this as the menu wasn't boring and looked interesting.

Incredible service in a modern, old venue. I was not happy in some time, but this jewel could surprise us with new classics. In any case recommend visiting!

Lovely pretheatre menu both food and wine, good service which was unhurried. I had the baby squid, belly pork followed by vanilla panacotta, yum! The Carmeniere was lovely too!

Tasty, unique dishes and welcoming service. A fantastic spot for a special treat. I especially liked the fact that the children's menu offers real food without any chicken nuggets.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the music was lovely and not too loud, and the staff was attentive. I was pleasantly surprised by the shells and caramel popcorn - they were a highlight of the meal.

visited on Sunday, 2nd april, all reviews on tripadvisor. all the workers were very accommodating and eating was beautifully presented, plentiful portions and absolutely delicious. if they would recommend, will definitely return. thanks to varsity a beautiful tasty for a late mother's day.

The staff were amazing and the food was delicious at this restaurant! My husband, our daughter, and I came for Sunday roast and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was relaxed and our daughter was able to sit with us while we ate. They even set up a changing area for her when she woke up. The staff were very polite and friendly, and the food was also tasty.

A tad disappointed. Don't get me wrong the food was good but for the price paid, you would expect more from the taste of it. Also disappointed by the fries served : those were McDonald's style frozen ones (see picture). And for this type of restaurant this is simply not what you expect. All in all, 3 stars is I think a good depiction of my experience. Servers are nice however !

beautiful place, fantastic staff, good food wine! we chose the restaurant based on tripadvisor rat and were not disappointed. the place is quiet and romantic, despite the location along one of the most important cambridge roads. we have a nice table on the window. we liked the fish tasty but light, with fresh vegetables and potatoes. the eton chaos was a real tasty bite! service was fast and friendly.
