Viet Grill - Menu

5 of us went out for my sister’s birthday. Service was ok. Food was ok but all our meals came out at different times. One main came with the starters. Not all the starters came at the same time then all the mains came out one at a time. Coconut prawn curry was the best. Campfire stew was bland.

We took a day trip to Shoreditch and we were thrilled to choose this restaurant from the many options along the high street for our lunch. It was our first time trying Vietnamese cuisine and we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food was absolutely delicious.

Never been here before. We stumbled upon it, went in and had a Bun Sa with tofu and stir fried egg noodles with chicken. The taste was out of this world. We were both raving about it as we ate, and one of us at least is not easily pleased! The food arrived quickly, the portions were generous and the taste was amazing. Really recommend it!

I have always been a fan of Viet Grill, but it has been a while since my last visit. Despite reading some mixed reviews recently, I am glad that my friends and I decided to dine there. We had a reservation for four at 7pm on a Thursday night, and we were pleased with the polite service and delicious food. Overall, we had no complaints about our experience.

Food is OK, standard vietnamese choices. Not wonderful, portion of pho was smaller than other places and I had to ask for the bowl of beansprouts and herbs that was very small and mean amount. Expensive for what it is. Service was quite slow, forgot our drinks, seemed distracted by the stream of delivery drivers at the door. Disappointed and has gone downhill from years ago.

Disappointed as they was mix up with our table even though we booked it felt like we were shoved in a corner food was good service was fast but poor my sister in law waited so long for two dishes we ended up sharing our food with her by the time her dishes came the rest of us we're half way through our food. No Alcohol sold but you can bring wine or beer they charge £4 a glass

Came here for birthday meal which had been booked a while ago. Spoke to restaurant in the morning to confirm all was ok. We arrived and it was staff meal which obviously is fine but not a single member of staff acknowledged us. We sat for about 15 minutes with no service, finally we ordered some cocktails and then no one appeared to make them. Eventually we left before anything and went to another restaurant down the road where the food was amazing and staff were super friendly. Not worth trying here!

The restaurant has a nice decor and spacious seating arrangement, but the food left much to be desired. The coconut chicken curry lacked flavor and the chicken was tough and dry. The accompanying vegetables were served late and without warning. The use of the same plate for both the starter and main course was unhygienic. The salt and pepper squid was the only standout dish from the set menu, as the other items were bland. The service did not meet the expectation set by the 12.5% service charge. The banana fritters for dessert were underwhelming and oddly presented. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

I've eaten an all decent Viet restaurants in London and used to love Viet Grill, but my last experience was my last, arrived Saturday at lunch time, not too busy but as only two of us, got sat at a table against wall in rear of restaurant, really? Meanwhile there is a lovely bank of seat long rear of restaurant vacant except setting up for the staff lunch. I did manage a better table but ordering and then long wait for food, meanwhile the staff table began to fill up with food. It was 13:30, think you need to pay attention to customers food first.
