"we were on Sunday afternoon with the family to eat in the gasthof. unfortunately I haven't read the latest reviews here before, because I can only guess from one visit. I have eaten a stuffed wild boar, which was garnished for 16.20 eur with three small potato cookies. also with the blue herb additionally offered for 2,- eur, I have not become tired. I can't. my wife had pfeffermedaillons with lateze, the portion size and the taste were just so okay. our little ate a child carving with almost cold, fat-triefing pommes frites. the carving came apparently finished from TK-stocks and tasted accordingly bad. our big got a totally boiled boiled boar, naja.Hinzu come absolutely overpriced prices and a very slow and unattended service. we will no longer go and can not recommend the country. Price-performance is in the rough bite ratio and the kitchen can still grow enormously from taste and appearance of the diners."

we had a nice evening in the forest inn at tasty wild dishes and good booze. we were kindly served and our patenkind rejoiced over paint pencils and a teller pommes.

nelken, juniper berries everything is included in the food and you must have luck not eating at every bite on it. it was not well prepared either. ofenfresher pork roast - rather a 15 hours at low themperature mutilated crustless piece of meat.

in the glander you can look forward to good wild dishes. the kitchen is faultless but dedicating. Whoever likes it is fully satisfied. after eating it is recommended a round in nearby wildgehege. a walk before you could probably spoil the appetit, because there are cute and wild boars to see.

we were for lunch today in this restaurant. know it from the past and then it was good. but now, eating is really the exact opposite of it. the reh absolutely tasteless, the soße certainly not a soak that fits too wild but some thin plucky sauce. the late-skin was nothing. because of the tips of a well-known we have come to this restaurant. at the order we were told what was no longer available. the rest on the menu did not convince us. we ordered a pork and a wild boar. the pork was o.k. whereas the wild boar did not taste us. the ordered radler had hardly any beer taste. then I ordered another seperates beer. such a characterless aqueous beer has not yet met me. when it was paid, the service wanted to give me all the first for 16 euro small money. I'd rather put the money together with my wife. for us this restaurant is absolutely no recommended.

despite reservation, the order was only accepted after about 25 min. after a further 30 min. then came the ordered child carving although not even the drinks were served. 10 min. later the drinks came to demand. the children's carving was probably a frozen finished carving after the taste. then after 75 min. after eating asked no answer from the service. the personal was unmotivated, unqualified and permanently overwhelmed, and not very friendly and too slow for an outing place. we then left the local after 95 minutes without eating. for the bad service and for the region the prices are far too high. can not recommend this locally in any way. "Yesterday a few friends of me and I were together in the inn to the sun to make us kulinarally pampered. For me, it was a new visit, as I had been a guest in the sun several times or as a visitor of a cooking class and I was therefore very pleased to be able to meet my friends, who were never here for dinner, in my home town. We all enjoyed both starter and main meal and three of us also chose a dessert. With all the parties involved, all the courses were so excellent that a friend who usually stands on pizza or fast food immediately noticed that we come back here again. The service is always very positive in the sun. Always friendly, forward-looking and extremely on Zack; on the one hand, one never sits in front of an empty glass, but on the other hand feels neither observed, nor wasted and has always a friendly and competent contact person in case of any wishes or questions. Although I'm not a gourmet guru or praised restaurant critic, I still think the quality of the food can be weighed in proportion to price and believe good conscience to be able to say that even in the larger area around Pappenheim there is no restaurant that offers such high quality at such fair prices. All in all, therefore, it is only for me to wish the young operators of the Hotel-Gasthof to the sun, also with regard to the great reconstruction, a great deal of success. On the one hand, since such young people, who devote themselves so ambitiously and passionately to their vocation, must be more than just a deserved success. And on the other hand, as the sun, I think, is also an enrichment for the city of Pappenheim."
