Waterfront Restaurant And Bar

What a beautiful setting to eat, a little hidden gem. The food is fresh and simply lovely. We spent a lovely afternoon watching the world go bye. Totally recommend anyone to stop by whether just for a drink or to eat.

Waited 50 minutes to have our order taken only a few people in at the time) and eye contact made several times. The gum chewing barman inspired no confidence at all. Shame really because we went there because the menu looks great, it was...almost like we were not wanted

Based on the last reviews, we had doubts on coming to this restaurant however even though we hadn’t booked a table they were quick to accommodate us despite it being quite busy. We were served quickly and shared a camembert for a starter and then...had a salmon and a carvery for a main. Also we shared monikas Tiramisu for a dessert which was very lovely. We would recommend this place to our friends and will definitely be coming back.

back to our favorite restaurant where we have never been disappointed. tasty eating served in generous proportions on pipe hotplates. three of us had the fish and the thrice boiled chips (shock), which simply melted into the mouth. I had the baked chicken breast with roasted. new potatoes and mixed veg with a creamy pfeffer sauce. the meat was tender and was wrapped in crispy panko bread crumbs. tasty and great value also. see picture.

the waterfront is at a beautiful location and makes full use of the space. visit them on a narrow boat and meet local friends, we found the restaurant very welcoming and flowering, obviously a popular place to visit. but we found the meal quite cut and. the waiter ordered the wrong fish dish and one of our party had to sit without meal while the rest of us ate. we had no excuse for this or real apologies and therefore I would not push myself back in a hurry. really bad. rachael

We booked to have our mums 60th in the room upstairs which has been decorated lovely very cosy! Everyone was so polite and attentive particularly the man behind the bar and the lady who was managing everything! They really made the evening enjoyable for...all of our family and friends. We had to wait a while for our dessert but we weren’t disappointed when it arrived. The food was delicious and many of our friends and family said they would definitely go back! We will most definitely be going back to try out the pods!

A hidden gem in Harborough with more than enough space to host a party. We hired the upstairs room and hosted an afternoon/evening party for my wife's 30th Birthday. The food was great, we had the opportunity to swap in items for the cold buffet...for 45 people. Drink service was great too, having two bar staff upstairs for our guests. The weather was amazing and the team ensured we had a dedicated space outside also for guest to enjoy the weather. Nothing seemed too much trouble and we got just what we paid for, an excellent venue, great food and drink, friendly and attentive staff. This is the second event we've hosted here in 5 years, and perhaps not the last.

Lovely surroundings HORRIFIC service. We waited 20 minutes to be given a menu, another 25 minutes to be served drinks (no apologies from staff or even acknowledgement) food arrived my partner and I ordered mussels and majority of the dish was empty shells. The...experience as a whole was terrible, we had invited friends for a meal and were so horrified that we made a complaint which is something we would not normally do. My partner was greeted by the manger with a very nonchalant attitude. Eventually I spoke to the manager to pay the bill and granted, they made a discount but it is definitely not a restaurant we will be returning to. visited before 2 weeks for a family birthday meal. there were about 15 of us. waited for over 30 minutes for drinks and some of them came wrong (the waitresses tried to remember everything instead of writing them down). they waited 20 minutes to take our food order. only 3 of the meals were to be taken from the kitchen, the rest of us ordered carveries, but we had to wait for more than 30 minutes to eat. we sat up, and those of us, who had carousel, had to go down for the carousel and bring our tellers back to the small staircase. totally unpractical for children, older family members or persons with mobility problems.
